there's no kissing scene prob cus the ML has a RL girlfriend and has been dating publicly, and his girlfriend is also acting in the show....so if you know his background, he probably is quite persuasive regarding the show. also this show deviates from the novel alot and made it way better. the novel has been on-going for 10 years and the author is very on-off with updates. he's quite lucky that the show made it popular again

regarding the last part, she's right. we've moved past medieval/ancient china norms already and society is moving towards making it easier and better for everyone. technology is there to help productions become cheaper, more effective and faster (but also some jobs like art will become redundant so they're protesting).

in the show, a HUGE part of the challenges the MC faced has to do with gender roles which just does not exist at all anymore.

most people, will never have to face a choice where they have to either sacrifice everything for something and if you do, you need to relook at your life choices.

yea because season 1 was so good and it built a fanbase. also the cast went on to do bigger shows and get more popular but if you compare season 1 to 2, season 1 is clearly the better show with better action scenes and an overarching plot. also season 1 more or less completely covered all the manhwa content

season 1 was the best. season 2 action scenes were so bad compared to s1 and the overarching plot of season 2 is rubbish. i wonder if s3 will be a completely original script now that will just ruin it all

surprisingly very good show that sadly, isnt popular because no idols
