Ended up finishing it since Netflix kept reminding me about it and i was even more disappointed- like i already figured out who killed his partner from the very first episode. it may be because i've seen too many detective/thrillers but i'm just unable to rate this highly

Title Stay Tuned!
I completely forgot it was a short drama so felt like it ended abruptly nothing wrong with it per say but this left me wanting more then again it's also likely for the whole foolish act to get boring if the drama was longer.

This was amazing!!!! loved every minute of it, especially loved how they overly dramatize very simple things but made it funny like the first episode made crave an iced americano and they manage to keep everything heart-warming even with all the very silly scenes, honestly only giving 9/10 purely because I'm not a parent and have absolutely no reason to enjoy this particular subject matter as much as i did.
On Green Mothers' Club Oct 26, 2023
I have yet to be disappointed by a Lee Yo Won drama - only seen about 5 of her dramas, but never never disappointed even this, the first 2-3 episodes were hard to watch so thought i'd finally end up disappointed but this wasn't the case. without spoiling anything there's a certain husband that deserves to be dragged to the pits of hell.
I would never have watched this based on the summary alone especially when it's a slice of life- not watched many of them and never really been into them but this was an absolute little gem, loved every minute-zero skips!!!
Also one of the reasons I love Netflix so much because something i'd probably never watch but a little preview/trailer of a show that just speaks to me and i end up giving it a go and being amazed.

I pretty much kept thinking about the blacklist every minute whilst watching this and ended up giving up half way through, kinda just got bored, opinion is if you watched the blacklist and got bored at some point before the final season this may not be for you, if you've not seen the blacklist then give it a go.
On Story of My Family!!! Oct 23, 2023
what kinda f**ked up last episode was that???????? that was borderline traumatising due to how unexpected it was, but honestly an amazing show nonetheless, would definitely recommend it although not really sure how to rate the show overall due to how thrown off i was by last episode, so this is going on my rewatch list.

Also wasn't used to a change of a scene being followed by a black screen in Jdrama's kept thinking my tv broke/turned off.
On Turn to me Mukai-kun Oct 21, 2023
I actually really enjoyed this show to the point that i stayed up till 5am bingeing the entire series, so was quite shocked to find that this had such a low rating on here considering how much i enjoyed it and i've seen kdrama's that weren't as good with a higher rating, although i can sort off see how some people would be annoyed with the ending especially if you're a jdrama fan who hates the whole open ending jig (personally didn't think it was). this was my third jdrama and only watched due to the awkward/cringe preview netflix had for with the ML.

i've always stuck to kdrama's since there's plenty of sources to watch them and never bothered with Jdrama's due to there always being no subs for any of the ones that i ever showed interest in but this show has definitely made me more interested in exploring jdrama's
On My Strange Hero Oct 11, 2023
wow i can't believe this has such a high rating, personally I thought the story was a hot mess, its saving grace was the actors for doing such an amazing job given what they had to work with.

I knew this drama would be good, but knew it would a very heavy-tearjerking ride, and with how unpredictable kdramas are, didn't think i could sit through 16hrs+ of this without getting a happy ending. really glad i gave this a go! after seeing it on the list of kdramas with happy ending.
On Duty after School: Part 2 Jul 8, 2023
These types of kdramas never have a happy ending but the last episode in this made me wish i never even bothered, would rather have just rewatched another drama that i've seen multiple times than the hours wasted on this tbh

Title True to Love
Just finished it and would just say it was ok.The thing I liked was how well it depicted the FL falling apart…
Totally agree!! especially the zero lack of growth from ML, i don't even consider the ending a growth almost felt like he was forced to, which is why i was even more disappointed as it seems to be such a small thing they could've easily fixed. might have even overlooked the creepy relationship with CEO for a future rewatch but that's never going to happen.
On Family: The Unbreakable Bond Jul 6, 2023
I mainly watched this due to the leads being the same as one of my all time fav kdramas(fated to love you), almost thought it was an indirect sequel. I personally enjoyed this with the exception of the last episode, which i can't decide if it because they needed another 4eps to make it 16 and complete or left open for another season as this honestly didn't feel like a natural open ending, i can't believe some wrote this drama with this ending in mind from the onset.

Feels like since the american streaming services have started dipping into Kdramas they're slowly starting to bring their bad habits in american tv shows to kdrama. One of my favourite thing about kdrama's is that there was never a need for multiple seasons, you never watched a show with an open ending expecting a season 2 only for said show to get cancelled, now we get part 1 and 2 in kdramas... older kdrama never really had less than 10 episodes, now we got multiple shows finishing within 8 episodes, Although i really like Netlix can't decide if this is a good thing or not.

On The Accidental Couple Feb 22, 2022
I've seen this like 4 times now, i pretty much just rewatch it whenever it's been long enough for me to forget most of the plot, it's basically a funny cute cheesy lighthearted drama basically all the qualities of what i consider a banger especially when i don't want something too serious.

The ML isn't exactly anything amazing to look at but most Kdramas back then weren't too concerned about looks as i've seen quite a few dramas from this era with average looking FLs & MLs, i've actually found most dramas with said type of leads to be better since they don't pointlessly show the face of the lead like in Nevertheless for example and focus more on the acting and story.

OMG!! now that you say that, I could definitely see them pulling some goofy ass miracle at the end of that show compared to this show which gave a more serious melodrama vibe.

Yeah but in "please come back, mister" it was made very obvious from the start that the leads were only coming back to help their friends and family move on from their deaths and the show was so goofy that i wasn't expecting anything grand.

Agreed, I just don't like sad endings especially when neither of the wives did anything wrong and by the time i got to episode 10, i couldn't see how they were going to be able to make sure both families were happy, so i started skipping a lot. I'm glad you managed to enjoy it in its entirety.
On Love with Flaws Feb 21, 2022
I literally watched this less than a month ago and couldn't even remember the title. Anyway i woke up this morning with a need to watch an unhinged/innocent character like Baek Jang Mi and would love for someone to recommend shows with characters like her, please don't say "Her Private Life" i've seen that like 3 times already.
On Miracle That We Met Feb 17, 2022
This is one of the few dramas where i wished i knew the ending before watching it because the amount of skipping i did whilst watching it was ridiculous, however had i know the ending was going to be done the way it was, i wouldn't have skipped as much and just enjoyed the show. Hence i can only advice others to just enjoy the show.
