The short answer to your questions, but better watch it than fast-forwarding the whole thing lol
1- he was the most potent evil god, So he wants a powerful being to restore his true self. As an evil spirit, he has minimum power. He can restore the power he wants by getting a highly-influential body.

2- yes he was resurrected through the bone jade because it was his primordial spirit and orchid took care of him

3-They were freed when orchid died

4- His Shifu told him that she loved him. He died to be with her and there was no other purpose behind it, since she died and couldn't come back

5-yes she died again but i don't recall how long she lived. Once she figured evil spirit was destroying her and her disciple, she wanted to die for peace.

6-Don't know the answer lol. But he was not a good god imo. He turned his back on everyone but had to cooperate when things got hectic between the clans.

7-When she came back, one of the gods told her that she needs to put the past behind her and fight for justice and peace. She had all her memories, but wanted to keep it shut, so as not to fall in love again and disorient the world . She thought she was protecting herself from the pain and moving on.
She went through the plan to marry ChengHeng, because only through matrimony could she gain excessive power to fight evil. Yet, before the marriage, DFQC wanted to protect the orchid and in her place went to fight the evil. So, he died for her.

This is all my interpretation. Even you could interpret the drama differently. Hope that helps

The story is really Interesting! worth watching I hope so :)

I'm not here to fight with you or anything. You have your opinion fine, so do i. But watch Episode 2 and i think you will be enlightened then. If not, again your choice. Dramas are supposed to make you feel better. If they don't, just don't watch it :)
