forgive me if I don't mind my own business but I read the review before following the drama and now I can confirm…
I think it depends on the audience's perception on this matter but the main issue was the communication barrier( which kinda related to the cultural differences right?) like them not talking, not showing each other affection etc but then again, it just depends on how one perceives this.
