I know that we are all upset with the actions and speech of CSS mother, me too, it was heartbreaking.
Could I spare a tiny minute to ask if anyone knows what happens to...spoiler... the incredibly annoying plot devices of Wang Jin and Lou Li, the 2 annoying brats who must be soooo frustrated to be soooo angry ,jealous and vicious. We know that every time they open their mouths its just to show how smart and resilient CSS is but....do they get their just desserts in the end?

This strategic and intelligent thinking is why she is the heroine of this story.

Wu Lei is impressive and it takes a lot to impress me.

Yes, I agree. She used to be more objective and thoughtful. I even liked her rants for a while but imo a level of frustration and cynicism is coming though more often. We can choose not to listen to her reviews. Everyone's opinion is different but its the respectful way its delivered provides credibility of that opinion.

I agree it needed a few more episodes to do this justice and more chemistry between the leads. After all they are adults and this is not a teenage romance.

Totally agree. What a mess near the end. This could have been a good watch and I didn't skip any parts but the script and character development was so flawed at the end. a real disappointment. There was so much to be explained with the key characters especially the leads relationship - all left in the air and viewer would have to make their own guesses.

This is lovely. I hope all who are interested get a chance to see this as it explains in more detail the HEAs of the cast.

hello, you seem to know a lot of "inside" information. Pardon the pun. Its great for us commenters.

I, too was disappointed when the C drama critic called LlTG a 'idol drama". She appeared to be dismissive and arrogant in her approach. She has always been thorough and intelligent in her reviews but lately there is a cynicism that peeks through. I guess if you watch so many dramas thats an occupational hazard? I think Wu Lei and Lusi are a pretty perfect matching pair who the audience can believe are the characters they play in this story. My hope is that in 10 years time they will come back together as did Wallace Chung and Li Xiao Ran reunite in another drama, where they are older,more experienced to tell us another story.
