I have to agree. Just incredibly authentic.

I'm not surprised the rating has gone down. The show is pretty shallow, even for a webtoon adaptation...

I feel like zombie apocalypses are such an easy sell show-wise. I'm genuinely surprised this is managing to deliver nothing.

Most of the comments have summed up my thoughts. It wasn't bad by any means; it was just incredibly bland and uninspiring, from the characters to the overall writing. That's not me demanding excessive plot twists; it could've remained firmly in its chosen realm, but simply finding a less painstaking execution. Disappointed, as I did express my initial excitement the first week😭, but you win some, and you lose some. I do think the second lead couple was a treat to watch and were somewhat able, but not fully, to offset everything else.

Unique to the realm of kdramas.

I really don’t find the male lead endearing, which fair enough isn’t a prerequisite, but I don’t even find him written well… so idk😭

I really enjoyed this and it made for such an easy viewing experience, which feels rare these days😭 The story progressed quickly so it’s nice and punchy, although there were moments I wished we could’ve lingered a bit longer. Certain things also felt like they resolved themselves too easily, but not enough to detract.

I’m inclined to agree. A really enjoyable watch, but when I think of a 9, I’m saying something is damn near exceptional. Moving & MTH are good examples of that.

I can’t speak to their intentions but there was a real lack of sensitivity.

This. Initially when the situation broke I held off as I know translations can be very iffy, but this is the clear bottom line, and it doesn’t change because of a translation. I don’t think anyone’s love for a drama can be that blinding…

True, but I think it would be dishonest to equate QoT & LND with the degradation of WTPR. Especially considering the fall-off started as early as the first few episodes. If anything, the ending seemed quite in line with what it was delivering week in, week out.

I find it particularly funny that they all cut their hair to signify adulthood. And it's all of them too 😂
