Yes, I did. Though I thought I saw Sorn locking the outer bathroom door... but I might have hallucinated it lol…
I watched that part like three times just to make sure, and he definitely closes the outer bathroom door, but it's likely still left unlocked as I didn't hear any locking noise.
Let me get this straight, you think majority of the men signing up for roles where they kiss men for a living and they get paired with another man long term, are straight men?
Your statistics don't exist in a vacuum. Just because majority of people are heterosexual, doesn't mean that cishet men are the people signing up the most for work where they kiss men for a living. Or are you telling me that that is exactly the case? Did you even watch the video I linked above? You don't think spaces for queer media consist majority of queer people?
I do wanna say I appreciate you for acknowledging bisexuals exist, though!
You're no better than the people saying they're all gay by saying they're all straight. Why does their orientation even matter to you? We have no involvement in it. It's none of our damn business.
We live in a heteronormative society so of course it would be the majority, but you can also be in a hetero relationship and not be straight yourself, and I assume that was never taken into consideration for the study you mentioned. That is my entire point. Maybe they present as straight because it's the easiest for them. There are so many different reasons for queer people to present themselves as straight, but the thing is that we as outsiders will never know that from a single glance. It's incredibly nuanced.
Forgive me, I'm not entirely sure if this is an argument against what I said or if you agree with me as I did kind of allude to similar things as what you said above, in my earlier comment. Sorry, I'm just a bit confused 😅
I do agree with most of what you said, minus the queerbaiting. That's a term that 100% should stick to fictional media and using it towards real people is in fact damaging to the LGBTQ+ community. See: that guy from Heartstopper that people harassed so much to the point that he felt he had to come out as bisexual.
But it also doesn't mean they're necessarily straight. They can be somewhere in between, they can be neither. The point is that we will never know and we shouldn't make assumptions about people's orientation whether it be sexual or romantic or whatever else kind of attraction they may / may not experience.
Based on what exactly? Have they specifically told you they're 100% straight? I'm not saying that means they're gay or anything like that, but the truth is that no one except they themselves know their orientation. Fact of the matter is that even though they have been only dating someone of the opposite sex their entire life, that doesn't necessarily mean they're straight. Sexuality is fluid and things can absolutely change. Not to mention how there are various types of attraction and they do not have to match. We should abolish any and all assumptions about people's orientation as a whole because at the end of the day, it isn't any of our business and (most likely) doesn't involve any of us on a personal level. There are so many nuances to this kind of thing, and it's absolutely not something binary. Maybe they just present themselves as straight because that's the easiest for them, maybe they're comphet, maybe acting in BLs is a safe way for them to express themselves. Like I said, we will most likely never know, nor do we need to know.
Also, to clarify, I am speaking on a general level. I am not talking about anyone in particular and I do not want anyone to think this means the actors will at any point date each other or that they're even attracted to each other in that way. That is not the point I am trying to make here.
Halfway through the series and I don't understand why Foei Patara is so high up on the opening titles, he's hardly…
"He's hardly been in the series," I actually got curious and went through all the episodes and I swear, up until episode 7 he was only in a single episode for like two scenes, and pretty much all we saw was the back of his head lol.
I am skeptical about this. Hopefully they're able to portray DID well, but from both the pilot trailer and the real trailer, I unfortunately do not have high hopes.
Before episode 7, he's only present in two scenes from episode 2, and at most you see the back of his head IIRC.
Also when you say Earth, who exactly do you mean?

I urge you to watch this TikTok so you can put into perspective how absolutely silly you sound thinking most of these actors are straight: https://www.tiktok.com/@monarchofmars/video/7504044663762898206
