Bcs in manga he top. And look like top...in manga.
Again, how does one look like a top? That's just not how that works. Anyone can top, it just comes down to preference, it has nothing to do with "vibes".

Majority of the 2025 lineup do not take place in a school or university. This is literally one of the exceptions…
I never said it wasn't repetitive, just that there is a reason why they constantly make the same kind of series over and over. If that's not your thing, just wait for the other series that are more unique. There are currently two GMMTV BLs airing that do not take place in either school nor university and the one before that didn't either. Unfortunately, familiar settings (I.E. school, university and office work) are what has the biggest appeal for a mainstream audience. There is a reason why all over the world, you see a lot of the same kind of stories told over and over again. It's simply what most people can recognize themselves in and therefore what sells the most. It's a shame, but it is the truth.

Majority of the 2025 lineup do not take place in a school or university. This is literally one of the exceptions this time around. Just wait around for the other ones. Also, one of the reasons why a lot of BLs take place in those settings is because that is the most relatable to everyone on a mainstream level. It's the same with Japanese series in general as well (using that as an example because it is what I'm the most familiar with.)

This series makes no sense from a historical standpoint, and that doesn’t help.
I hate to say it, but quantity > quality is pretty much to be expected from a GMMTV series. Of course they CAN make quality stuff as well, but that is unfortunately not the case—especially when it comes to BL series.

I like the Kaishin's character but i cant stand the Ai. He is bratty for no reason and his backstory is painfully…
To be fair, the writer is Mame, and she can do so much worse. The daddy issues plot is tame compared to some of her other work...

This may be a stupid question but how did Pan get half her face burned and how did she end up in a wheelchair?
She got trapped inside the burning building and the ceiling collapsed on top of her legs.

Really ruined the series for me. Not only was it deeply offensive, it was also completely obvious. Hack writing…
Exactly!

Also the trope of someone faking their disability or condition or what have you, is so tired.
I mean, it's not like I needed your permission in the first place, but thank you? A bit confused about why you left such a passive aggressive-feeling comment in the first place. I'm sorry I didn't like them pulling a similar twist twice?

Not what I'm disappointed by. I'm disappointed by how it was executed. She really was an epileptic for the plot and so she would have plausible deniability. Please. Like I said, my previous points still stand.

They really tried with that final twist, I'll give them that.

Just did, and now I'm even more disappointed. My previous points still stand.

Man, I'm so tired of the the-culprit-is-actually-the-disabled-person-that-no-one-suspected-on-the-grounds-that-they're-disabled trope. I spent most of the time hoping they'd make her incredibly suspicious and then the culprit would actually turn out to be someone else, but alas, that is not what happened—because at the end of the day she's still a murderer.

Edit: I'm not saying that you can't make a disabled person the culprit, by the way, but it has to be really well executed and not... whatever this was.
