Oh he definitely fits on the spectrum, I'm not disagreeing there. My issue is moreso with the way he is portrayed as ridiculously gullible and how it seems like he doesn't understand how /anything/ works. Misunderstand me correctly, I have no issue with those as traits in general, but when it comes to portrayal of a fictional character, that can very easily come off as offensive, and I feel like in this case it is heavily leaning towards that side. I don't get the feeling that he was intended to be on the spectrum, and they just wanted to write a clueless and gullible character who also coincidentally has other traits that line up with ASD.

Again, I know not all autistics will agree with my viewpoint, and that is perfectly fine, our experiences are different after all. Please don't take this as me trying to force my viewpoint on you because that is really not my intention.

I personally wouldn't say he's well portrayed, but I guess that is more related to how different autistic people find different things relatable. To me, he's portrayed in a borderline offensive way, but I know not all autistics would think the same.

No, I think it's Mod having found an actual partner and breaking off the situationship like they agreed they'd do if they got their own respective partners. Also, Chian's nails towards the end said 🐜🖋️🪭😻🎤 which means that he finally realized his feelings for Mod, but it's already too late, hence why he's crying. If Mod was talking about a hypothetical future partner, Chian wouldn't have reacted in that way. He reacted like it was already too late.

For me, what matters the most, is the original creator's intentions.
