Does anyone have a direct link to episode 2 on iQIYI? I can't find it when I google it and neither the app nor the website shows you localized content when you use a VPN (hence why I'm asking for a direct link)
Remember: - It's available for free on GMMTV's YouTube channel everywhere except a select few countries like Thailand, the US and Canada (Probably more, but I don't know exactly which ones. Feel free to comment if it's not available on YouTube where you are) - It's available on iQIYI with a paid subscription in Thailand, Canada and the US, but a VPN will NOT show you it in the app or on the website! You have to google each episode separately and get a direct link to iQIYI - It's available on GagaOOLala with a paid subscription in the UK, Germany and Australia
ALL VERSIONS ONLINE ARE UNCUT!! To my understanding, cut version is only for Thai TV
(Please feel free to let me know if I have made any mistakes and I will correct accordingly)
iQIYI won't show you localized content when using a vpn. You have to manually google each episode and get the direct link to iQIYI. Personally, I am using GagaOOLala, but it's only available in the UK, Germany and Australia if memory serves. It's also available for free on GMMTV's YouTube channel pretty much everywhere except some select countries like Thailand and I think the US. Hopefully this helps!
Literally crying oh my god they're just too wholesome😭😭😭
I will say I got more QPR-vibes from it (as well as the first movie) but as an asexual person, I think that actually made it hit harder for me. In the end, I don't think there's any need to label what they have. It's clearly a kind of love that's very strong and special to the both of them.
I don't think so, the kidnapping was in the trailer, so maybe it'll be shown in the final episodes.
You mean the 60 sec. version, right? I haven't watched that in ages, but I just did and you're right! Seems like they're trying to tie the two storylines more together this time, which seems interesting.
(Also, I think spoilering your comment could be a good idea so you don't spoil the people who haven't watched the Thai adaptation)
NOOOO!!i wanted to see Shoma in this part it would have been interesting
Right? It feels like such a shame bc now there is no actual drama in Arashi-Rei's storyline, which feels a bit weird knowing how the Thai adaptation went. With that being said, I do understand why they're saving it for Fuma-Kai, though.
I'm quite used to it, any time a show dips into darker themes, some people swoop in to lecture the audience on…
Very well put. I am one of those people that felt a bit uncomfortable by this episode, but at the end of the day, I won't really care that much because it is fiction after all. Do I wish it wasn't included? Sure, but it is what it is, and there's nothing I can do about it, and frankly, I don't really care that much about it. At most I'll objectively point out what happened in the scene and how it made me feel and just move on. Maybe vent about it to my friends if it's something that really bothers me, I guess, but that's about it. It usually won't ruin my enjoyment of a series.
That being said, I do still think that people should be able to say "that's assault" without others trying to downplay or justify it in some way. It doesn't necessarily mean we cannot separate reality and fiction, sometimes (like in my case) it's just an observation. Screw the people making it a morality issue and projecting it onto others, though. You can like darker themes in fiction without it being a reflection of you.
Sorry for jumping in here, I just wanted to give my own perspective.
If this was reality or a k drama what Style's is doing to Fadel would be classed as harassment and sexual assult.…
Was waiting for someone to say this. I know it's not that deep when it comes to this show, but even then, it did still make me a bit uncomfortable because at the end of the day it is still assault. Not gonna let that ruin my fun with the series, though, just pointing out my own feelings to one scene.
like: oh we forgot the ep 11 curse, lets put in in final ep just because of tradition...
The point is that even though it's supposed to be metaphorical, there are people who take it literally. I said this in my first response to you when I said "people misunderstand what the curse actually means and why it is there in the first place." It's THOSE people that I am venting about. I'm watching another show atm that has more than 12 episodes, and people in the comments were, expectedly, talking about the "episode 11 curse" after episode 10, when that's just not how that works?? Sorry if I really didn't get that across until now, but that has been my stance the entire time, and I took out my frustrations about it in this thread.
Once again, I didn't mean to direct anything at you, so I hope you didn't take anything personally. I do still personally disagree with calling it a "curse", but if you want to continue calling it that, by all means, go ahead, I'm not gonna stop you.
