Title My Roommate Is a Gumiho Spoiler
I agree with you, I just can’t with them. She acts like she’s 14 and this is her FIRST relationship pple,…
All the characters have had their moments when they acted childish, but it is a romantic comedy, so that comes with the territory. To say that Lee Dam is childish just simply is not true. She would be the first person to tell you that she is inexperienced, but that does not equal childish. She is old enough to be an adult, but young enough to not be if it is convenient. She might have some growing up to do, but apparently you can be 999 years old and still have some growing up to do.

I think she is more innocent when it comes to intimacy than romance. She seems to know the ropes, and walked the ML through the process. He was stuck with romantic notions from the past. That is how some of the misunderstandings have come about.

I would much rather have a significant other grading my paper than some know-it-all professor whom I do not know and does not know me.

You are welcome, and I also think that enjoying a story is a very personal thing. My comments all across MDL have tended to characterize a viewer watching a drama or movie as a relationship because that is what the experience comes across as to me. I appreciate you willingness to open up and am glad that you also are enjoying the drama. I still need to finish the late ten episodes.
I love cats so I love Er Miao. I have had cats named Big Cat, Little Cat, and Medium Cat.

I suppose his lawyer had a lot to do with him getting released as well. Some dramas would show some impeccably…
Did we watch the same blast scene? Did you see the blast radius? That was a room/floor killing bomb that was designed to kill anyone in the area in case the target put the package down before it could be detonated. It blew the door and the wall into that confined area. It seemed like the guy delivering it did not know how powerful it was going to be. I do think it was purely for dramatic effect, and any attempt to look real was tempered by wanting to get the end scene staged how they wanted and making it look scary.

What about the bomb that blasted the entire area and did not do anything to Shao Xue?

If someone becomes a better person, and not just a better person to the one they like or care about, I would consider that character development. I might also just not see what you or others see. I have not read the webtoon either, so I do not know much about what will happen. I do look forward to the next episode.

I think that Kim Do Yeon has shined in her limited screen time.

Okay but seriously am I the only one liking SunWoo's character development so far? ._. he looks like a tiger puppy…
Has he really developed? Outside of Lee Dam, he seems to treat everyone else the same. He seemed to like her because she made it obvious she did not like him. He often seemed to make her uncomfortable with his words and actions. He gets drunk and a string on his finger and now he is supposed to be a changed person? He does not really know Lee Dam. and perhaps there is more to him than what we have seen. I think his real character development opportunity begins with the next episode.

he didn't put anything in them, he simply revealed that they have the red thread of fate that is biding them together…
No matter what happens, I hope they can maintain the qualities of the first half that has made the drama so enjoyable. No matter how "serious" the story has gotten, it has been told with sweetness and humor. Usually when a drama starts to get convoluted or tries to be something it is not, the story and viewers suffer for it.

The thing I do not understand about the red string always being there, is why did it only start to have an effect after the mountain spirit revealed it to Woo Yeo? I guess an easy answer would be it is fantasy and drama, so the rules bend to the plot instead of the plot bending to the rules.

A fool our families because they have been friends for decades, but I am a cold workaholic not looking for love and you are a too young to settle down and want to travel the world passionate artist fake engagement?
For the issues I bring up about My Dear Guardian, I have been firm in that I have enjoyed the drama. But yes, I feel if you have 40+ episodes, you should expect more, or just cut out all the non-romance stuff and make it one of those 24 episode fluffy romance dramas. I have not seen the final ten episodes and I do look forward to watching it.

Perhaps the lawyer made contact and bribed powerful government officials that then passed the order down to let him go. A weak point of the law lies with the enforcement. Good people are punished and bad people are let go. Perhaps a crack was created and he slipped through it. I am not saying that what happened was right or logical or even makes a lot of sense. I am saying that him being released was explainable.

Not enough episodes released daily?
1) I thought they were referred to as mild tranquilizers when they came back from the lab. Regardless of that, you cannot just add or switch medicine.

2) I think it might be just as likely she trusted him because she was infatuated with him. Probably the same reason why she thinks she can outlast his wanting to get back with XC. When it comes to love, Mi Gu becomes a different person.

I think the fact that the only issue she see is that he is still obsessing over his ex which is her best friend, and she is moving forward is unsettling. I do think that when they slept together it was more about settling than love. He setting for her and she settling for the version of XR that still pines for XC.

If you view a love triangle where at least one member is in love with another member of the triangle, then it…
You asked why do people think it is a love triangle and you seemed like it was pretty clear it was not. I was just trying to explain why some might not see it the same way. There are love triangles that are done well (short and sweet) and ones that are done not so well (draggy and cruel). The first time around was short and sweet. Even if you do not see this time around as a love triangle, it does seem to be something that can drag the story of the main couple down unless it is cleared up quick.

Most love triangles are really the main couple plus one unrequited love.

Same. I really dislike this God. I don't like that he is practically forcing Sun Woo and Dam together through…
I am not sure what is going to happen, but it was probably the first time I was annoyed with the plot itself. I was not expecting much from the drama, even after the preview for it. It centers on a 900+ year old fox with nine tails wanting to become human and living with a human. I thought it was going to be a campy, cheesy romantic comedy that was held together by pretty faces. Then I watched the first episode and was hooked. The drama was really good and has probably gotten better over the course of the first half. There are always things in dramas (even in great ones) that I do not like, but I was disappointed how the end of episode 10 was presented. Maybe it is a blip and will dealt with as smooth as it was for the original Sun Woo interruption (shut down with no chance) or even the evil spirit (killed in one go and that was that). Or the red thread will become a chain that carries the anchor which drags the show.

Why do people think it's a love triangle it's been pretty clear from the start it's not
If you view a love triangle where at least one member is in love with another member of the triangle, then it is a triangle. If you view it as two members competing for the interest of the third (which seems to be the drama definition), then it is a love triangle. The triangle is never equilateral. It form more of a sword where one invariably gets left out and hurt.

For a mountain spirit/god, that was a pretty petty move. Maybe it will be for everyone's benefit in the end (it is a drama after all), but the way it came across to me seemed childish.

I agree yet again. I seem to be in a very agreeable comment chain. The problem is also rampant in Korean dramas as well. You would think a drama that has a start and ending would be easy to pace. How often can there be a "Surprise! We are adding/subtracting four episodes?" Is it a cultural aspect of watching dramas? Is it a ratings issue? Do they just film it and not run it past anyone until it airs? I do not think it has ruined a drama I have watched, but it certainly takes away from it.

I agree cubed. Support characters and side stories are called that for a reason. I am not going to say the leads have to take up a certain percentage of an episode, but it just feels like sometimes they were there just to support the supporting characters. Nothing based in science or fact, but just a feeling I get.
