YES. This is exactly what I was thinking! thought I was going crazy for a sec lol
Thanks for letting me know I am not crazy or need an eye exam. I have seen comments on other dramas and articles that say person X looks like person Y, but when I look, I do not see it. At first, I thought Suzy was a cameo, that is how confused I was when I saw it.
It is actually the second time it has happened to me, and both involve Suzy. I watched several older dramas where Yoon Eun Hye was the FL. Then I saw my first drama where Suzy was the FL, and I thought Suzy looks just like a young Yoon Eun Hye.
I do know that each actress is different and beautiful in their own way.

They look like they wear their military dress uniform. My guess is that the military paid for her education, so…
I do see your point, but how much would being a military doctor have to add for you to recognize its significance? You could also say the same thing about the ML. Why did he have to be a special forces soldier. SWAT and the police he is working with do some of the same things he is doing. The cousin's father is a policeman, and he never seemed to be around, so the same conflict that could arise from being a soldier could arise from being a policeman. The ML is a special forces soldier, so if he is not on a mission, he is probably training. For most other soldiers, it is more of a day to day normal routine with the exception you are wearing a military uniform. I imagine that a vast majority of the time, a military doctor is just a doctor.

Just like you, something that seems trivial to others can bother me too. Yes, she did not have to be a military doctor, and yes, there has been no real "that is why they made her a military doctor" moment. It has surely facilitated things, and perhaps in future episodes, that moment will happen. I have not read the novel the drama is based on, but perhaps they will end up going to some fictitious war-torn country like in Descendants of the Sun. Or perhaps that is what should have happened in place of the flood relief operation. I do think some things could have been done better and I am glad to see someone who can offer constructive criticism.

It might just be me, but whenever Jung So Min puts on comfy clothes and her glasses, she looks a lot Suzy's character from While You Were Sleeping when she put on comfy clothes and glasses. WYWS also had Kim Won Hae in a support role.

This drama was not even on my radar, and when I first saw the title, I wondered when was the last time I read a magazine. I saw a preview on IQIYI and recognized quite a few of the cast and checked it out. It is sneaky good, although how can a drama have Jung So Min be sneaky good. She is an excellent actress so I am not surprised I am liking it. It sort of reminds me of Into the Ring which played up the comedy just as much as the romance and drama. I like the writing and the acting so far. Things always tend to change when the romance starts (for better or worse), but the drama is filled with really good actors playing interesting characters.

Xia Chu has absolutely zero self defence skills...Besides wearing the army uniform there is nothing more to see.…
They look like they wear their military dress uniform. My guess is that the military paid for her education, so she is serving by being a doctor. It might also be a military teaching hospital which is why the dress code for them is like that. The fact that she is a military medic/doctor and works at a military hospital puts her in contact with the male lead, or at least in the orbit of the male lead. I think they did a good job of showing the doctor's doing training and supporting the military in their roles as medics. She probably learned the most basic of basic self defense skills at the beginning of her military training. They are doctors, unless they are in a special unit (like the doctor at the barracks), they will not have special training and not be trained warriors. If anything, it is the opposite of what you said. She has one friend that she rarely sees, but almost everything else revolves around the military, the hospital, or in the field.

This week until the final two episodes have seemed longer than a week. That is usually how I know if I really…
I think the real question will be if we get both 15 and 16 tomorrow.

could you explain to me, do they really split up?
The thing about complicated relationships is that they are complicated. I think they started being attracted to each other at the very beginning (or at least from the start of living together), and like you mentioned, falling for each other pretty quickly after that.

If part of being in a loving relationship as a couple is telling a third party about being together, then they never were really together. But, if you mean being together as both liking and caring about each other and not liking someone else, then they have never been apart.

In the most simple of terms, they have always been together.

for such a big hospital, reliance on a resident doctor seems to be too great. I agree the episode was ridiculous.
I could just tell by your name that you would understand.

That is over 50000 seconds! What are we supposed to do for 50000 seconds?

I wonder how she managed the plane flight. Actually I really wonder how all of the passengers and crew managed…
True about ZR, but I just do not think it is in him to want to win her back. He seems more obsessed with having her and going back to eight years ago. You cannot even go back to yesterday, let alone eight years ago. I wonder once XC sits him down and tells him her feelings for LMZ (that is classic drama 101 to tell the SML you love someone else), what will ZR do then?

They do not split up. They never officially agree to be lovers (let's face it, that is what we really mean), so they cannot split up when they were never a couple. I will say whether they both realize it or not, or say it or not, they are together (they are literally together a lot).

I think that actors can improve. I do think there are some people who have only been acting for two months, but seem like they have been acting for twenty years, and others who may take twenty years to get to same point that one might get in two months. I do think that if an actor does not seriously challenge their skills and get out of their comfort zone, it would be hard to get better. I am sure agents and entertainment companies want to strike while the iron is hot and that is why you see a lot of younger actors and actresses playing the same type of roles.

If I was ZR, honesty would not be something in my toolbox. Even given his family situation, there surely came a time when he began to like the feeling and power he has. Does he want to get rid of his boss to be a better person, or to be the person he wants to be? Exactly what kind of person is that?

For LMZ, he did eventually have that conversation. He thought he was probably doing the best thing in considering her feelings. I thought he tried his best to share his feelings in a way that was considerate of XC, but given his relationship inexperience (actually both of them), it did not come out the way he wanted. She also did not handle the conversation well. One thing I like about the drama is that whenever something like this happens, it gets taken care of quickly. They are different but alike in many ways. She instinctively trusts LMZ and he trusts her. When she is in danger, he is nowhere around, but one of the first things she does is to shout his name (which says all I need to know about her deep feelings) for him.

I have seen the ML in a few dramas (Love Designer and Moonshine and Valentine) and he never seemed to be asked to stretch his boundaries as far as being a dynamic character. I am not saying he could not, just that his characters (this one included) seem pretty straightforward. I do not like to be negative about an actor unless it is egregious because acting is difficult. He has only been acting in dramas for about 5 years. He does have a presence about him. This is the first time I have seen the FL, but I think she is doing a really good job as Xia Chu. I actually think Mi Gu is the best acted character so far. She is very expressive without saying a lot and her character comes across clearly even with limited screen time. When she has her scenes, especially ones that involve the SML, she really does well. The character gets a lot of flak, but a lot of that is how well the actress sells it.

I was so confused that he targeted the vehicle knowing that she might be in it at some point in time. He seemed to really go out of his way to not hurt her, but she could have died. If there comes a time where he tells Xia Chu what happened when he had to leave her years ago (his family), trying to kill her does not seem like a good move if he hopes for any sort of sympathy. As for Mi Gu, if she does not pull herself together, her name might become an eponym for foolish romantic.

Sometimes I think that some actors might not get the nuances that a character has to have or are uncomfortable or unable to express certain feelings that a character is supposed to have. So someone says being a cold person is like ignoring everyone or not caring about others so they just alternate between acting like they see no one and being a jerk. The same thing about a bubbly or cheerful character an actress might have to play. Being annoying is not bubbly nor does being cheerful mean you have to be full of cheer... like inappropriate time and place full of cheer.
I am not complaining about the main leads in this drama. They are both doing well in my opinion.
