I am not big on Korean entertainment, so I have, and still often find myself feeling the same way when I read about a comeback of someone who never really left.

To those who watched, is it good ? Also does it have romance?
It is a really good drama. It does have romance, although the amount and type is not enough to add it to the genre list. If you go into this drama wanting it or expecting it, you will probably be disappointed. If you let the drama tell its story, you might be pleasantly surprised.

12 Episodes now...I hope rather because its getting good ratings, they reduced the episodes as they plan to save…
A second season is about the only thing that makes sense given what we know. Korean dramas can rush endings, so maybe they are trying to edit the resolution in order to make room for more. Although that does seem to fly in the face of their statement about a rapid and higher quality development of the story. I am all for season two with more Kim Ji Eun.

You mean that someone asked you when this drama going to air?
I asked a trusted source not in the industry.

What? Okay now that sounds like a conspiracy theory.
I am not saying it is, but I am not not saying it is either.

I do not like to speculate or invest a lot into rumors so make of it what you will. I spoke to someone who has never seen a Chinese drama, and asked when this drama was going to air. And I quote, "What? What are you talking about?"

I tend to agree with you. If this drama was supposed to be a one-man show for the Namkoong Min as the ML, then…
You might have to sweep away all the praise, accolades, and bonuses first. There is just no room for it now.

My Expectations from a girl is so high after watching Korean and Chinese drama that I know that i will be forever…
You don't think that a woman's expectations are also high after seeing tall, rich, handsome chaebols, CEOs, and celebrities fall helplessly in love with female leads?

The show would have been a lot better if the backstory was the beginning.
I think the effect of his backstory might have been lessened if it were told in the beginning. What about if they had edited it to one episode and then made a special episode out of the rest? I really did not see a big deal with how they decided to share his backstory right now, but that could change with how the rest of the episodes play out.

I think you should be free to be critical of others (even if you are mistaken) here, as long as you keep it decent.
By the way, I feel okay defending your critical comments (even though you are treading near disrespectful territory), but I also feel a bit uncomfortable because I do not want you to think I agree.

That makes sense, and good for Kim Ji Eun to be recognized for her previous works.

I think my biggest worry is that there are only 14 episodes (assuming there is only one season/part), and I wonder if that will be enough to tell the story in the rich way it has been told so far. I would also like them to continue taking cases too. Most of the time I feel 16 episodes could be cut to 12 and viewers would be better off, but I feel like this one will leave me wanting more.

I don't think her marriage will be a secret, just that she would like to keep her partner out of the spotlife.…
If that is the SOP, then I can understand. It just seems odd, but the lives of celebrities are different to the rest of the world no matter how down to earth they seem.

I genuinely don't understand why there was a need for such a long ass flashback?first of all it took away the…
I am torn between wondering if I would have rather had all the flashbacks at once, or peppered in during episodes. I think if there ends up being a flashback to the flashback, then I might think that seeing it all in one go might not have been the best way. I know the gist, and my memory is pretty good, so I do not expect to have to go back to what happened. I also think that sometimes, history being sprinkled throughout episodes can disrupt the flow as well. I think the drama has changed up its tone a few times. The first few episodes were quite funny with emphasis on comedy. The next few got really dark concerning the murder case. Then the last two seemed a bit melodramatic with his backstory. From what users said about the upcoming episode, it seems it will (at least in part) return to more lighter fare. I think the writing has been consistently good every episode, so regardless of where the story goes or how it gets there, I feel comfortable looking forward to it.

lol flashbacks does not make sense. it was typical, predictable and boring.also ml is totally different person??…
You would think it would make more sense if it were typical, predictable, and boring. Or perhaps I though it made sense because it was interesting and filled in a lot of his backstory. His backstory only briefly touched on his relationship with his family which was probably the source of who he was before he met Lee Joo Young. He then began to open up, but with her untimely and unfair death, he began acting in a totally different manner again (presumably to cope with all that had happened to him and those around him). I think (or at least hope) that Baek Ma Ri will be able to do the same thing for him as Lee Joo Young, while at the same time helping him find the answers to what really happened those years ago.

production fumbled on FL casting 😞
I tend to agree with you. If this drama was supposed to be a one-man show for the Namkoong Min as the ML, then casting someone as talented, charismatic, and beautiful as Kim Ji Eun is a misstep. She threatens to have great chemistry with him, and hold her own in scenes they share. But instead of being so pessimistic, I would rather think that they cast Kim Ji Eun to purposely make the series better, and bring the FL to life in a way that compliments the ML.
