I just finished watching the drama and my opinion is that it is one of the best dramas this year. Real romance and real comedy. Great cast of characters. No draggy tropes. No constant misunderstandings, no noble idiocy, no exes or family sabotaging the romance. I have to admit that like medical, law, or police dramas, political dramas are not for everyone. Nana was (amazing, dazzling, sensational). Take your pick. In the hands of another actress, Goo Se Ra could have been annoying, loud, and over the top. I found Nana's portrayal determined, fiery, and dynamic. It helps to have a pretty face, but her facial expressions added an extra dimension to her character.
does it have love triangle ? this whole story is about their love triangle i guess the writer didn't have much…
In my opinion, something happened with the drama that seemed to make them rewrite a lot of the romance plots. The breakup between DH and YJ seemed to suffer in a holding pattern because of it. Supposedly DH and YJ were together for 2+ years, but acted like they knew each other for 2 days and only seemed to see each other for the same time too.

I thought the drama was more about how DH and SB went from co-workers to friends to close friends to something more. I did not see any serious love triangle. It did seem like a story that had a lot of frosting but no cake. I also know quite a few people who like to eat frosting straight out of the container.
In my opinion, she is a star that shines so bright in the drama that you do not really care to notice issues with…
I did decide to watch it because she was in it. I am not saying I would not have watched it with another actress, but she owned her role. I cannot imagine anyone but her in the role.
"She speaks Mandarin" So do all those L1 Mandarin speakers whose voices still get dubbed over - it's sadly very…
I know there is a lot of dubbing. All the pairings were Korean. I mainly wanted to express that there are more options than just that. I wanted the dream pairing grounded in a bit of reality, so I chose an actress who would be able to communicate with a drama team.
Yes, but I did not think was a classic love triangle.
I will take it as a compliment. I chose the analogy because it seemed like a colorful way to express the idea that he did not have much screen time. It was either that or calling him the second male lead because you only see him for seconds at a time.

This drama answers the question if two people say they are in a relationship, but do no act like they are in a relationship, are they really in a relationship? If there was a drinking game that required you to drink (orange juice of course) every time the second male lead was on camera, you could binge the whole series and not get juiced.
Some of the first dramas I watched were Taiwanese dramas on Netflix. Some of my favorites are starring Aaron Yan: Refresh Man, Fall in Love With Me, and Just You. In my opinion, there seems be more emphasis on the comedy in romantic comedies from Taiwan then in their Korean or Chinese counterparts. Not a comparison, but I really like the OSTs to quite a few Taiwanese dramas. Some of the other things I have noticed is the car troubles and accidents in quite a few dramas and fake diseases and health issues to keep the main by the second's side. Maybe it is the warm climate in Taiwan, but casual fashion and even business attire for females can look like a short shorts contest.

I am not a fan of active love triangles, and this one was more passive. I am not sure how much you want spoiled but you will have to deal with the DH/YJ relationship dragging for half the drama. I did not affect the chemistry that DH and SB had one bit.
one of the most unnecessary character in dramas is Lu Yan Zhi i dont get it, whats the point of having his character…
I do not know about an unnecessary character, but his character has no depth. Or much courage. I have only seen up to episode 21 (Eng Sub), so maybe that might change.
The drunk confession in episode 18 was probably one of the best emotional drama scenes i have seen in awhile. On a scale of 1-10, I give Shen Yue a 12.

You are welcome. It is actually DH, YJ, and SB that are the real triangle. I suppose you could say DH, YJ, and SJ are a triangle too, but a small one since SJ did not have much screen time in the drama. I guess you could also say that DH, SB, and Puppy made a small triangle too but Puppy never had a real shot. It sounds complicated when I typed it, but it is not.
