I think comparing LBFAD with IS is more valid than LLTG. LLTG is a different type of storytelling and not everyone's cup of tea. I personally enjoyed the stark contrast between LLTG and LBFAD and the breadths they were willing to explore in their own ways. It made me feel very lucky to be able to follow both shows live and I hope subsequent shows can live up to the standards they have set.

Maybe it's for the best that we get the suffering over once and for all so she can quickly become the powerful version of herself and stake her claims

I'm wondering why the brother thought it was a good idea to make Chang Heng pissed like bro you literally just said he's the only that can stand up to DFQC. At least pretend to give him a little bit of freedom. No wonder Rong Hao got away with so much in 30000 years.

Dan Yin, Chang Heng, Rong Hao and to some extent Xun Feng really feel like fleshed out characters, each loyal to their own beliefs. Jie Li's love triangle looks messy but interesting.

Main couple keep surprising me with how fast their romance develop. It's super serious and they are committed to go through thick and thin with each other. DFQC sacrificed alot to be with XLH and XLH is mature enough to take on the burden of being his queen. It's such a departure from all the dramatic forbidden relationships in xian xia and a huge relief.

They should have cut out one of the princesses... I rather have more scenes focusing on CSS family and the main couple.

It's sad how they have to rush the last few episodes. They should have maxed out the available slots for season1 and 2.

Seeing DFQC cave to peer pressure is comedy gold

This drama made her stupidity a feature not a bug. So it makes it easy for her to go beyond viewers' expectations of a cutesy FL.

Predictions? The Tianjin mirror does indeed show the future, but as a device it's meant to trick people and not reveal the entire truth. In the next episodes, it was revealed to Dan Yin that Orchird and Xiao Run will get married, but Xie Wan Qing and DFQC will have a dual marriage with them as well. Similarly into the future XLH as Goddess Xishan will attend the marriage ceremony with Chang Heng, but something will happen to null the arrangement. Personally I hope Chang Heng and Orchird will beat Yunzhong into submission on the spot, and Orchird will leave to go to arbiter hall to see DFQC.

Yeah I looked at the trailer again and our main couple do indeed get married. But i'm wondering how Xie WanQing switches her Mr Right unless the guy she marries is Rong Hao. He seems like the kind of guy to kill his lover.

What we know about the sky mirror might not be everything I guess.

And i'm wondering why Dan Yin didn't tell Chang Heng that he will get married to XLH in heaven.

According to the relationship chart, Xiao Run and XLH are dream lovers and Xie WanQing and DFQC are dream lovers. The other fairy also said Xiao Run and XLH will get married in the mortal realm. I'm thinking this will really happen and the trailers tricked us into thinking XLH and DFQC get married? Or maybe they switched bodies again?

Does anyone think DFQC has become less imposing after gaining back his feelings. Looks wise he's starting to look more like Dylan rather than some high fantasy character. And voice has become gentler. I wonder if they change the makeup style or it's Dylan's acting skills.
