Title My Cherie Amour Spoiler
I think Janthorn reminds him of his late wife.
he cares for her because she was "entrusted" to him by his dead brother in law (also janthorn's half brother). i think he just feels responsible for her. and also probably her pitiful situation, such as being forced to marry some guy by her family, reminds him of his late wife too. he doesnt want her to fall into the same situation

Well, 2 very revealing episodes. I feel it went a little dark. Wichai’s mother went from an annoying screaming…
tbh the mum has a lot of emotional baggage too. she been through some traumatic events but she's passing it on to her children. i dont like her her but i get why she's like this. her husband died young with a tarnished reputation, leaving her in a ruthless gossiping society with 2 young children.

In ep9 What Anong said is true no one seem to be care about what/how Wichai feels, Even Anong also Misunderstood…
yes everyone, including anong, has taken him for granted. as if he owes them. i like that she realised it at least

at ep 4: its somewhat interesting but idk if there's enough thrill to keep me going. the biggest mystery is who bombed the national assembly but i feel like thats not quite the focus of the drama. there's a lot of emphasis on people skills (like how to read people and use them). so the focus is really more political

Can anyone translate this trailer for the next eps?? I was anxious just watching it and didn't understand anything.…
Wichais mum: that woman caused wichai’s illness to worsen. There’s no way I’ll accept that fickle minded woman into this family!!
Anong: I know I don’t deserve to be with you. But since I’m already bad, I’ll be the worst I can be.
Chat: someone tried to ruin my wedding. Was it anong?
Wichai: you don’t know how to love any one. You only love yourself that’s why you did that out of gratification
Anong: you want the person you love to be happy and end up with the person they love, and so do I

He definitely sees anongs love and is trying his very best to create distance and push her away at least romantically.…
Yes exactly!! We know more about wichai and see anong’s character development. She’s gone from love sick angel, to petty vengeful love interest, to an understanding and empathic person all in just a few eps

Title My Cherie Amour Spoiler
Such a disappointment regarding the lack of chemistry between Wichai and Anong in the latest episodes of the series.…
He definitely sees anongs love and is trying his very best to create distance and push her away at least romantically.

Ep 9 of course does not have much progress between the leads romantically but it dived deeper into wichai’s character and it explained why there is no romantic development between the leads (haha). In ep 9 we also see Anong coming to a realisation that she’s been acting immaturely on her whims (trying to hurt wichai the way he’s hurt her) but now she knows he doesn’t owe her anything. It’s a bigggg character arch for anong.

I kinda agree there’s less between the leads these past two eps and the focus has kind of been on chat and janthorn. But the last two eps have been the turning point for the main lead’s relationship so I don’t see it as “no progress” .
Personally they have so much chemistry when they had their back n forth in the rain scene. But yes I guess it’s also less fluffy compared to earlier eps.

Whoa, I saw one scene on YouTube and knew I had to give this one a try... I was actually bawling watching the…
I was actually iffy about him initially cos I did not really like the way he deliver his lines at first, and also cos I’ve never seen him in any other drama before this, but he’s doing great. He is good with expressions and the eye acting is on pointtt. He usually looks young (has a baby face) but I feel like he truly embodied the image of a slightly older man burdened with responsibilities. In the latest ep he’s able to pull off such a dignified yet pitiful act. Just so gooodd

Ml's mother is kinda bringing down the quality of the lakhorn, she doesn't get much screen time but is effective…
She’s such an annoying hateful character but shes somewhat neccessary since shes the main cause of wichai's emotional baggage. i just hope she will continue to have few scenes (and if only they are necessary)

Well... brace yourself then... that's gonna be Pearl Girl as well. Business plots are in these days.
At first i found the business woman plot very refreshing but now its repetitive. always the ssme thing every drama

Is it good guys?
Definitely very good. Might even say it’s one of the better lakorns with cohesive plot and good pacing, at least so far. The cinematography, set design and costumes are a feast for the eyes. I like the main characters so far they are very endearing and will both make u swoon and cheer for them. Yaya is doing god’s work here with her acting.

Title The Rise of Ning Spoiler
There is not even 5 min plot for fl business till now(ep18)..she is the most unique fl i have ever seen in asian…
I liked new life begins, not because of the business plot but the sisterhood in the story and how they schemed together against their own husbands. overall i prefer dramas without the business plots (haha) i find them too preachy sometimes cos they're always like "women can do it to!!!!" i like that message of course but i hate it when its rubbed into my face every other episode. i can SEE for myself their acheivements.

Business plots in general are always the same. They start a business, it doesn’t do well. They come up with a genius plan to boost their business (it’s usually just some modern day marketing tactic), and BOOM business is good again. That’s why I just don’t like them
