Both his sister and anong asked him why he’s willing to give janthorn up and he hasn’t denied anything. If he wasn’t into her he could’ve just told them he doesn’t even like her… so honestly idek what hes thinking in ep 9. But on Thai forums they say that the drama isn’t really following the janthorn plot in the novel so now I’m just confused

I think it’ll still continue to be somewhat heavy like ep 9. he’ll still be on his sick bed in ep 10

khun pra really has been brainwashed by his mum for reals. Like how can he think he isn’t worthy of love??? He grew up not being valued so I don’t think he even knows how lovable he is. Based on ep 9 and ep 10 previews, it seems like the chapter with the ex wife has come to a close. So his “I’m a widow I don’t deserve love” trope will come to an end. Also janthorn and chut will get married so I think it’ll set the stage for the main couple in upcoming eps.

I really liked the rain/car scene and it seems like khun pra, who had been bottling up his feelings, has reach breaking point. I don’t think he realises it but he’s been talking to anong about his inner turmoils. So he’s opening up!!! (Altho why tf did he have to go ask her to be his sister?)

I’m also kinda confused. I thought wichai wasn’t interested in janthong, so why is he looking so sad in this ep? I think he’s also sad he’s being slighted by his family over and over again. Maybe he’s looking “like a dead man” because no one at home values him? But I really can’t tell?? Why did he book a train ticket to janthorn’s hometown and why did he say all that to anong if he didn’t like janthong in the car rain scene??

I actually quite like it because we get to see anong’s other side and the tension when they argue. love not only brings out the best but the worst in each other. Anong, a usually lovely girl, is being petty and Wichai, who is supposedly calm even in the face of death, breaks his cool when arguing with her. I actually like the misunderstandings (even the sister one) since they keep the tension and emotions high. That said I don’t think the janthorn and wichai misunderstandings will end soon. Anong will probably still think he’s into janthorn even after chut and JT gets married.

We definitely see a some development with khun pra in ep 8. The way he used his niece as an excuse to spend time with anong!!!
Urgh but all this was ruined by the preview. Why would you ask her to be your sister? Kind sir you literally imagined kissing her 2 eps ago and got jealous seeing her with another man. What sort of incestuous man are you painting yourself to be???
