Deok ro’s sister was in an outfit that girls wear when they take part in a bride selection. I assume in this case she’s taking part in a selection for the ML’s concubine? So she’s not a concubine yet but just a candidate

Technically during the three year mourning period of the previous king, it was kind of frowned upon to take on a new concubine. (Saw this in some history vid at the peak of my obsession for this drama 🤣). That’s why San said “the three year mourning period for the previous king has passed, and you know what I’m going to say…” to deok im 🤣 crazy stuff. I guess next ep we will know how much he has struggled trying to control himself 😝 😝

Just watched the mbc clip on YouTube. Three years have indeed passed since the previous kings death. San said this in the “proposal scene” to deokim. I guess deok ro’s sister is still a child since they are using the same actress? 🤣

Episode 12 was so intense and good, the whole cast’s acting was 🔥
Yes, the lead up episodes have been great. I really felt rewarded when San finally ascended the throne after go through so much in the past 4 episodes
