The last time I felt this type of inconsolable sadness was the red sleeve. And honestly the young Sunjae running with cake scene reminds me of deokim saying goodbye to her friends as they leave the palace while she stays behind, then she reminisces her younger and happier days leaving the palace on her off days with her friends. The difference is that deokim lost her freedom while Sunjae… well sunjae lost his life AHHAHAHAHA

I hate the ep 13 plot twist but i like the more melodramtic turn in ep 14. idk maybe i just love melodramas and sad shows in general haha. That said, I don’t think it’s THATTT melodramatic aside from 1-2 scenes but I think that those were definitely the stronger and better executed parts of ep 14

The Ferris wheel scene was the most emotional scene yet for me, esp in that scene where young sunjae runs excitedly with the cake towards the Ferris wheel. He looks so happy that I couldn’t hold back my tears even when I rewatched the scene. It’s just so sad to see him so young and happy idk why. And this is coming from someone who was bored in the Ferris wheel scene in ep 13. I felt nothing but rage when he died in ep 13. But now I’m just so sad seeing the POVs of sunjae and sol of their Ferris wheel date in 2009.

I feel so sad for sol she must be hurting so bad. She must feel like crying everytime she meets sunjae

idk if any one yall listen to do kyungsoo but his song Almost Time almost perfectly encapsulates Sol and Sunjae in ep 13. In fact a lot of the songs from his new album describe their romance OMG T.T

i think when the show ends, the general comments about the drama would be positive. tbh ep 13 is the first time we see so much mixed reviews because so far its been like 98% positive.
