I think that maybe this is how the show will end? Since the beginning they’ve been alluding that the FL might be canghai (who seems to be from the demon realm). Could they both just become demons in the end and be together forever?

I thought it was ok. Even as an immortal the female lead was quite simple minded and not scheming. She didn’t take her human life seriously for most of the tribulation. When she finally did I think she was just too emotional to think properly

Chu kong might look indifferent towards xiangyun at the end of ep 12 but we have to remember that lu changkong probably grieved the death of his beloved for YEARS. Meanwhile xiangyun has been grieving only a few days and she’s already so melancholic, so I’m sure Chu kong feels something too but is just hiding it. But it’s kinda funny… xianyun fell for LCK who no longer exists. Meanwhile CK, as LCK, fell for the real xianyun who will always be alive n breathing hehehehe
