Before ep 17 is released, I feel the need to commend ZLH on his amazing performance in ep 15. I keep watching…
I read a tweet that described their confession, where yingtao said i like you as if she's anticipating a new beginning but qx said i love you as if he's saying good bye and it's the last time he'll be saying it to her. ππππ
Wtf. What a change! This is interesting. I'm excited. π
ETA. forgot to say thank you in my excitement. π Thank you!!! Also there's a clip of yingtao's and qx's confrontation (?) floating around twitter too. π
I just saw on Tumblr that jiang is not shown because they followed the novel ( Yingtao college years)
He's only in the flashbacks. Oh and a recent picture. But i love this episode. π It was focused on her college life and how she bonded with her roommates. I love how they love and are protective and supportive of her. Also, bonus YQ in a uniform. π
I heard on ep 17 the fl calls the ml mother and the mls mother is telling her to not look for the ml and what…
I dunno if you're rally asking or not. But she said that if she tells ying tao where JQX is, they will never have a chance of a mother-son relationship. π I just can't understand why she's blaming yingtao for their damaged relationship. I can't!!! πππππ
Hey guys, Iβm feeling so discouraged to continue watching this drama. Iβm only on episode eight, but with…
I think you shouldn't be reading the comments. π I like the drama, having fun with the angst now. But it's because i know there'll be a satisfying payoff. Read the novel and i loved that drama expanded on the friendships and family relationships. But. It's still up to you, it's better not to force it if you're not feeling it. You can always come back to it later. π
Youre not alone. I think i have 2 or 3 hrs left before im supposed to wake up π I'm seriously thinking if i should jump to coroner's diary, new eps should be up. π
I haven't read the novel so I didn't have anything to compare as I watched. Maybe that is why I thought that scene…
If i wasnt too impatient i wouldve also waited for the drama to end before rdng the novel. π E.. some has dropped it already? But the best is yet to come! But yeh i guess he's frustrating because he did ghost her and his friends. But as she briefly narrated, he was drowning with 'adult concerns'. Everyone's just starting their lives (college!) and he wants to make sure they would experience it to the max without them worrying about him. Frustrating yes, but in hindsight, he just wanted the best for them. ><
I love ep 16! I love the family interactions (except for JQX's π ), theyre so supportive and loving with their children. And you can see that they also see the others as their own. Also her dorm mates! I know that they will love her, but how it was acted out was so cute. >< Cant wait for the next episodes. π

Oh they they acted so well. I was tearing up with ZLH when he was telling her what he wouldve wanted to happen. Their kiss and their shy chuckling were so sweet. Her pure joy on seeing him and his mixed emotions in seeing her. (I really get the impression he wasnt planning to see and say goodbye). Drama version of that scene was good. Angst was still delivered.
But was just sort of looking forward in seeing that the scene in the novel acted out. So i guess, it'll just stay in my imagination. π
And I'm sorry but i liked the novel version more. π I even reread that chapter just to be sure.
it was JQX who went to her. Just like when her class monitor shared that she will be the first person he will look for. I can sort of understand why drama is implying that JQX is just sneaking off, to maybe make him seem less of a jerk by just completely ghosting her instead of doing a 'kiss and run". Novel version just seemed more desperate (thus, more angsty!) π€£
Also i dont remember if it's in the drama, but there was a scene where JQX that he wants to be more independent before he went to his cousin's, so he can give back to cousin. That would, i think, explain his decision not to tell them.
Kdrama most probably..
Anyone have ideas?
ETA. Google answered, my love from the stars.

The audacity to ask her to marry into the foreign princes' family.
Wtf. πππ
ETA. just jad to pause to comment that ^ π
