I am sure there are doubts. He hurt her terribly. His words were painfully blunt back in ep 14. It is just the build up to that scene made what she did disappointing. The actors and director are doing a great job because they make us react. I haven't watched ep 26 yet and will not till the express comes out. Looks funny though!

I realize there is a reason, just as there is a reason for Haoming's horrible words from ep 14. Your theory makes sense since I saw Xu Yan looking over at Haoming. It could be she wanted to see his reaction. But ep 25 was strangely worse. It was the buildup of watching him do everything to help her and watching her appreciate his actions,only to be let down by this. Episode 14 was different. We knew once the truth came out, things were going to fall apart. He didn't need to be so brutal in his words, but I figured he had to be for the next arc to work. Ep 25 could just be the setup for Haoming to get drunk as seen in the teasers.

It's drama. I am always looking for reasons why things happen. This drama has held me to my screen for days. Tomorrow's episode will be good but I am still going to hold off watching until the weekend.

That would be funny😂 After she thanked Jiang Liang, she seem to look for Haoming so maybe she wanted to say something to him and you are probably right about why she thanked the investor. This drama is excellent with either stressing us out or shocking us. But for some reason, the end of ep 25 was awful regardless of reasons. It was the build up to it only to be let down. Too much. It made it easy for me to put this on hold until the express.

For the first time since starting this, I don't feel so eager for the next episode. The obsession got kicked out of me😂 I am glad because one ep a day and with what happened at the end of ep 25 makes it easy to pause. Even if I hear it was explained in ep 26, I am putting this on hold until all episodes are out.

Exactly. I cannot bring myself to watch that scene again not even to double check that she got a little choked up in her speech. Something is going on because after she was done giggling with Jiang Liang, she looked for Haoming at the end of the table. I am putting this on hold until the rest of the episodes come out over the weekend. The episode you posted comes out on Sunday I think unless they release the express on Saturday.
