This is why I said at one point that some watch it on the surface for enjoyment and I do that with some dramas too. But with Love's Ambition, I can't help myself for delving into it. There is so much to be said! Even the humor is thought-provoking. It wasn't just Barbie and Ken to Edward and Bella for fun. It was so much more. It was brilliant the way it was shown to all happen in the space of time that the other couple walked from the lobby to their room dressed as they were from the start. If we noticed this, we would know the leads didn't actually go through Plan A and Plan B. That would take magic. I hope the director gives an interview explaining his thoughts. Brilliant! And this is why I call this a masterpiece.

I know. I rewatched ep 14 yesterday too 🤭 He was terrible! But I also watched the earlier episodes and the more I watch, is the more I feel he fell in love with her but realized after she left that he couldn't live without her. I love his patience now. He is supporting her while giving her room to prove to herself that she can do this.

I am going to cry when this ends.
I love that each episode is coherent with the theme. When Xu Yan decided to divorce Haoming, she set a goal for herself. She wants to succeed and know that she did it herself. And I love him for understanding. Ep 24 confirms this. But I predict he will help her indirectly. Did anyone else notice he casually dropped the news to Mrs B that Xu Yan was experiencing some problems in her business? Haoming is brilliant. I love him.

I didn't work today so I watched ep 24 already! I rewatched ep 19 last night and laughed so much. Did you notice the look on the bellhop's face when he saw Edward and Bella? 😂

I saw the trolls last night including the one who objected to being called a troll when obviously... All great dramas have this happen.

Yes, I am so passionate about Love's Ambition. It is a masterpiece. I love it!
And even if people don't love everything about, it those low ratings are not justified! The acting alone makes it above average and I meant this about William Chan's actiing also. Both are excellent 💗

I so obsessed with Love's Ambition. I have thought of different scenarios of many of the plot lines and some even materialized. I am hoping for a fashion show where Xu Yan wants down the runway in glory with Haoming and the Shen family watching with pride. Her biological parents should see this too. I even imagine Xu Yan introducing her parents and grandma to them but saying it was her grandma who raised her and how much she loves her. The biological parents will look on in shame.

And this is where Xu Yan will help him. I wonder if she will help him look at the positive side that he was taken in whereas she was rejected by her biological parents. Somehow, the truth about her childhood will be revealed to Haoming and his family and this might be where she shares it to help Chen Chen deal with his pain.

I wrote another comment about the comparison with Edward and Bella. Not many cared. Some keep complaining about the switch to humor and that it didn't fit and here I am think it is a brilliant comparison as Xu Yan and Haoming's relationship is now moving to one of equality.

Every time I saw people complaining about the "slapstick" humor in ep 19, I have tried to share my thoughts that it didn't really happen. It was a parody. The other couple never changed clothing. It is not possible for the leads to leave and come back in different outfits and cars and still end up at the elevavator with the other couple at the same time. It never happened in reality. Ths production always has a reason. The director doesn't waste air time on something that is not significant.

I love this turn around! This is great progress toward a happy ending for the characters. He might have been a bit loud at first but he wasn't evil😂

I am all caught up. I haven't read any of the comments yet. Last night I fell asleep reading some comments about Haoming. I have long since moved on from ep 14, perhaps because I believed Haoming loved Xu Yan before the separation. I was too tired to comment last night, and this morning I watched some video clips while I waited for today's episodes. I am beginning to dread scrolling through this forum. I know everyone has opinions, but some are such mood killers🫣

I watched the preview of ep 28. Where does it show they are back together? I hope you are right. I hoped for at least 4 episodes with them together.

At first I thought they left and came back but then I noticed the other other couple never changed clothes😂

We found ignoring them helps. They want responses. We ignored and reported. And some comments were removed. It is not even as bad in here as it was in that one. That drama got hit by different groups of trolls. When we ignored they stopped. Then later another group or maybe the same group with different names came. Several times when we reported, the user was removed..

Earlier this year, there was another hit drama that I loved. The trolls kept coming. They pretended to be fans of other dramas. They would leave the same type of comments that are popping up here. They mix in compliments but slide in veiled insults. They pretend to have watched the drama. Sometimes they ask questions just to bait fans into getting into a discussion so they can have a base to dump the hate comments. Ignore them and report. That drama was at 9.2, then 9 and now at 8.9 because of haters.

I went to the gym then took a long walk and got in over 17,000 steps today. Much better than yesterday when all I did was rewatch episodes of Love's Ambition and watch bts. I am trying to curb the obsession😂 Then I pop in to see trolls.
