I am not saying he doesn't need to redeem himself. He is changing. He just needs to do something to show he loves her and make her feel cherished. He is going to show her that he puts her at the top. He is starting to see this. He doesn't need to be brought down financially for him to be redeemed. I don't like what he did in ep 14 but he is not an evil scumbag. Not everything he did for her was an act. There were some sincere moments and she felt it too otherwise she would not have loved him. Sometimes it takes losing someone to realize they had a place special place in your heart. Haoming is seeing this. There is scene where she automatically started to unpack his suitcase, then she remembered and told him to do it himself. The look on his face 😂 Old habits die hard. He was so used to taking her for granted.

He was so cute! And I was surprised because his character was more reserved.

I wouldn't call in makjang. But I can see certain plot lines with the secret child and slapping that is typical of the genre. That term reminds me of a certain Kdrama I watched that had a screaming maniac FL out for revenge when she was reborn because of her cheating husband. I hated it. Love's Ambition is totally different feel.

I had that same reaction to her assistants around her. She looked powerful with her entourage following behind her!

The bandaid scene was a reality in the middle of all the games and acting. It was so beautiful.

I am glad they are taking this route rather than melodrama.

There was a scene in A Date With the Future that his character surpised me with a fun dance routine.

While I was shocked by his words in ep 14, I wasn't quite convinced he was so terrible. And I am glad to see I was right or that his actions after confirmed the way I saw him and believe he really loves her. It was not all fake for him. She touched him in ways he didn't want to admit to himself. You will see.

I will see if I can watch it again. I am not sure which interview I saw before.

There is a purpose for this. This director doesn't do anything without significance.

I have never been disappointed in any of her dramas that I chose to watch. It is nothing new, but right now, Love's Ambition is a brilliant showcase of her versatility and talents. But I should also say, William Chan is playing his part perfectly and the director and production have succeeded in making this an outstanding drama.

😂 That arrogance of his is taking a hit. I am cheering Xu Yan! But I rooting for Haoming. I know he loves her.

My heart goes out to Lusi. I have loved watching her since my first Lusi drama, WRTW. She is the most versatile actress I have ever seen. As someone said, Love's Ambition "showcases" her talents. Watching her now leaves me in awe of her talents. I feel her heart goes into her work and seeing her livestreams leaves me in doubt that her heart is truly sincere.

The verticals are short but I am never going to watch another that the ML protects the sfl over the FL again. Marry My Husband turned me of Kdramas. I hated it. I don't find Love's Ambition to be makjang. In Marry My Husband, the FL was screaming crazy.

For me, it is not necessary for him to be brought down this way for him to learn. He has already realized his mistake but he needs to figure out how to fix it. At least he has already admitted to himself that she is valuable to him in more ways than one. Have you seen ep 20. yet? He said it. I don't care if it was supposed to be act. The words came from his heart. The drama is not going to take an angsy angle for his redemption. It is going to be a mix of deep emotions and humor. I am already over being mad at him. I just want to know how he brought himself to say such things.

It was crazy! But this director is a genius because he did that it was obviously meant to be.
