This is what I have been saying. I even saw a slight nod to Xu Yan when Xu Yan bowed and told her sorry. And in the dinner where Haochen got upset, the mil looked upset when the dishes Xu Yan usually prepared from them were brought out. She loved having Xu Yan in the family. It is not surprising because of how patient and helpful Xu Yan was to to them. And as I said before, Xu Yan was in tears because she came to care about them. She still called them mom and dad. And even if the mil put her through some tests at first, Haoming's parents were more appreciative of her than her biological parents were. She became the lady of house as the housekeeper said to her once and it was the first time she felt she was wanted in a family. The Shen family was not all bad. They have their standards and made it challenging but overall, they are not evil.

Did you see ep 15 already? She stood in the studio and wondered if she would have achieved it without Haoming's help. And then the lights went out around her as if to show it was over. The director uses symbolism in every episode. It is everywhere.
Even the way she took off her makeup in another scene. First she covered her eyes with the cleaning pads and it looked more like an emotional cleansing because she cried. When she removed them, her eyes were clean of makeup, but it wasn't enough and she even took off the added lashes. It was a thorough cleansing.

It is respect. I had a feeling she would go there and apologize. It is the right thing to do. She lied to them, so she needed to go back and apologize. It doesn't matter what they did or knew. Xu Yan still needed to apologize for her part. I could she when she looked at her MIL, she was emotional because she grew an attachment to her in a sense and I feel the MIL did too. I am glad they didn't put her down. I might be wrong but the MIL looks upset about the divorce. I feel she really likes Xu Yan and felt she was good for the family. When Xu Yan mentioned Haochen, the MIL looked moved somewhat.

Me too! I love Xu Yan. I keep rewatching and everytime I think, "Wow! How does Lusi do that?" The emotions are clearly on her face and in her movements.

Exactly. There is more to him than they have revealed. I think it has something to do with Haochen's mother. It was after his talk with Mr Fang that he went looking for Haochen and didn't answer Xu Yan's call. He left her waiting at home when he should have been pampering her after her hand was cut. There is something about that scene that makes me think he is holding back from her for some reason other than that she faked her background. I might not like the hurtful things he said to Xu Yan and the way he treated her when she tried to work things out, but I feel there is good in him, and she sees it too, because she fell in love with him. I hope to get back together. But not yet. He keeps giving her reasons to stay with him based on what he can do for her, but he doesn't make her feel she should stay with him because he cherishes her. He will change. I think she still loves him because the way she loved him before will not go away that quickly. I noticed she didn't throw away the picture of them on her office desk while he covered their picture in the apartment. He was sulking at the nerve of her for leaving him😂

He is worried. I can see it. And soon he will have no choice but to start fighting for her in a way that makes her feel he values her.

I read between the lines and I watch every expression. I got so much into it I had feeling she was going to shove that ring at Fang Lei. And the way she says, "Lei Lei." 😂 Not to mention the way she smooths Lei Lei's hair back and gives her that smile then tells her complexion was pale😂 Lusi's times her movements so beautifully. Outstanding performance. I can't stop saying it.

He thought he could control her so the company was not at risk. But he could have handled the situation with her better and he would not have missed out of getting on the board. He is already paying the price.

He was wrong to treat the way he did in ep 14. She reached out to him to work it out and he was awful. But he had to be for us to enjoy him trying to redeem himself. All of us, whether we still like him or not, want him to suffer for a while.

I am not going to start it yet. After this I will watch LITC and by then we should know if FH has an HE. I don't know how I missed FH. I only added it to my list a few days ago! I was clueless it was in the making.

Her career doesn't need resurrecting. She just needs to heal.

I just rewatched ep 14 and he is brutal. But I haven't given up on him yet!
