In ep 15 he walked out restaurant that she tricked him into going by making her father's secretary set it up . He didn't even sit down when he saw what she did. I have never seen him seek her out go to her unless there was something urgent. Also, she was working on the project with him.

I laughed at the expression on Haoming's face when she bid 3 mil. And then when Xu Yan turned to smile right into his face it was the perfect touch. Yes, I picked up on her comment that it was all for show. Everything in this drama is significant. It is outstanding.

I don't know why but I keep watching. I watched that slap scene in ep 15 over 5 times already.

But outsiders do not know the story of how her father rejected her.

Xu Yan was the best thing that ever happened to Haoming. I think he threatened her with pulling his support from her tv company but he was using it to make her stay with him. He didn't know she would resign. I don't think he wants to ruin her career. He wants to control her and he was brutal when she asked for them to start over. I almost turned against him but I feel he loves her. He took her for granted and thought he was so powerful and high up there, she would never leave him. But she proved him wrong. I am mad at him too, but I also have hope he will redeem himself because I see good in him.

She used suicide attempts to make him go to her. The last attempt he walked out and left her to his attorney.

I didn't see him contacting her.

I am rewatching and focusing on his expressions. He was not faking all those looks of admiration and concern he sent her way. And when they went to sign the divorce papers, he breathed a sigh of relief that they had to wait for one month to finalize. I think he looked quite peppy when he got up to leave. Also, in the scene following the divorce registration, he was the only person with an appetite at dinner. Haochen and his mother couldn't even eat. But Haoming kept eating even after they left him sitting at the table and looked in good spirits.

I hope they reveal more about his childhood. He is a much better dad than Xu Yan's father. He didn't want to give away his son. I am going to watch the part where Xu Yan added the light to the little bear cave Haoming made.

He is not giving her hope. He has been pushing her away. She is the one who will not stop. He walked out as soon as he saw her father was not present for lunch.

I don't know if he is spoiled. It looks like he has to work hard to move up in the company.

I didn't read the novel but I heard the drama does not follow the novel.

From what I heard it should be an HE. I love the pairing so I will watch and pray for a HE.

I can't seem to stay out of this forum. This obsession is crazy. I am even planning out scenes in my head. A few even materialized.

I was thrilled to see one of my scenes play out where Xu Yan apologizes to the in laws and bows to them out of respect. In my scene, she bowed 3 times. And the in laws were even respectful to her. They looked as grieved as I imagined.

I was not happy to see my prediction that the ring at the auction was going to a certain person I will not name. I wish I were wrong.

I am still waiting for the scene where Haoming visits grandma and hears the details of Xu Yan's childhood. May he feel the pain. And I mean this nicely because I like him. I see something in him, and I am not going to hate him because he said some horrible things. The only thing that will make me not want them back together is if he cheats.

I am also waiting for Xu Yan to become a tv show host where she features relationships and also fun topics such as beauty makeovers and products for sale. It should be a cross between her financial anchor position and livestreaming food products! Her sister can be a part of the beauty makeover feature.

I am going to go against you and root for them to get back together. He hasn't done anything so bad yet. He is flawed. It is part of his character but he is going to change.
