I think she makes him feel better about himself. His wife was smarter and he felt less of a man. His mistress makes him feel validated. She is below him.

The episodes go fast. I had to stop myself around 2 am because I kept falling asleep. I didn't like ep 12 because in my half sleep state, Rong and the sml got on my nerves. I kept dozing off and then they were still there when I opened my eyes. Now I am reading the book and waiting for tomorrow and so excited for them to be a couple.

I think the one episode release is over. At least I hope so!
