I felt Xu Yan's scene with Madam Yu was a juxtaposition to the Xu Yan we saw before this. With Madam Yu, her perfectly made cake was smashed, the vegetable rolls she had taken such care making were put in the tin can with the ones made from dirt, her face and perfectly put together outfit were covered with cake, and Madam Yu couldn't even remember anything Xu Yan told her. Words mean nothing to a person with Alzheimer's who will forget a minute after. With Madam Yu, Xu Yan didn't have to put up a facade. Xu Yan was simply sincere in caring for Madam Yu. Sincerity made a difference, and in the end, Madame Yu even remembered Xu Yan's name. I hope we will see more of this Xu Yan, who is loving and spontaneous, once the truth is out.

I don't know what to do with myself while waiting for the next episode😭 I can't settle down enough to watch a mini drama. I want to rewatch Who Rules the World, but I don't want to mix Xu Yan with Bai Feng Xi. I should have waited till at least 20 episodes were out, but I couldn't.

It is obvious he is cunning. But I feel he loves her even if he doesn't know how much at this point. And he was nice to her grandma. He was sincere when they went to visit her grandma. He is not evil.
