I don't think he is toxic. He is empathetic and perceptive. He seems to know what she wants without her saying it. He is going to get on the defensive but he cares about her more than he knows. How can he not love her? Even his parents love her now.

Welcome to the club. If it helps ep 9 and 10 didn't make me as anxious as the previous episodes. The anxiety will be over soon as they got into the next stage of their relationship.

I can see the good in her especially in the flashbacks. I am still not clear why she never confronted her parents about their bias against her little sister. But she is definitely redeemable.

I wondered about what would happen to Xu Yan's relationship with her in laws. They have accepted her and even come to rely on her.

The teasers keep cutting off on me, but in the teaser for ep 14, when Haoming said he chose Xu Yan because he knew the high society women would never accept his mistakes from his younger days, I felt that 😩 But this could be him on the defensive because she was angry that he lied about his son. She lied too. Xu Yan grew up feeling rejected, so I can only imagine her reaction to these words.

I love the child actor, Fu Bo Han. He is looking so handsome, and his facial expressions are so well done. He could be another of China's Little Boy like Wu Lei. I first saw him in Who Rules the World. Since then, he has been in several of Lusi's dramas. One of the reasons Xu Yan looks so sincerely caring with him is that Lusi is naturally kind and patient with children. I love seeing Xu Yan just being herself. It is no wonder her in-laws seem to depend on her. Xu Yan is also sweet and kind to the housekeeper. It is going to be rough later.

I am all caught up. Love's Ambition is a masterpiece. This is not an opinion. This is a fact! It was a wonderful reprieve to see Xu Yan more at ease than she was before the wedding. She even looks different. The attention to detail in this drama is outstanding. I find myself looking for signs. Everything is going so well with Xu Yan and Haoming's family, you can feel the buildup is going high,..

It sound interesting to me! And glad it does not include cheating. That would have been a huge disappointment. I am home now and going to watch ep 9 and 10 then the teaser.

From what I saw this morning, he didn't seem to be her ex but just a friend.

I haven't seen it yet. I am not home. I am scared to look. Does it look as if he cheated on her?

I quickly watched the first part of ep 9 this morning and it seems the person helping her to find a job wanted her to fill in that her parents were abroad and she didn't. The person refused to work with her and afterwards she had a tough time finding a job. Then a guy she met helped her to make up something about her parents. Things just went in that direction. But even so, I don't blame her for not wanting those embarrassing parents with no integrity around when she was trying make a life for herself. Consideration her family history, I am empathetic toward her.

The stress is torture! If it was only for one or two episodes but goes on and on😱 Ep 8 was good with Madam Yu. I loved seeing Xu Yan help her. She might have approached with ulterior motives, but she was sincere once she met her.

Yesterday I saw up to ep 12 preview. I will be so happy when they move on to the next stage so it sounds about right that it will be on Wednesday. I am not going to be able to hold back from watching later today so I will be right here suffering with you all😭
