One of my favorite scenes that I watch over and over was the reception scene. I was captivated by the look on Sang Yan's face....

I can't get Sang Yan out of my head! Bai Jing Ting did something to me. I am obsessed. The music plays over and over. I hear Yi Fan's OST "It You" all the time.

The proposal wasn't scripted from what I read in the director's interview.

Explaining HK ( in the spoiler section) Arc if anyone cares also the reason why I do think the director didn't…
Sang Yan in the drama was not even upset at Yi Fan. He was just so happy to see her well. As I watched him visit all the places Yi Fan lived before, I saw Sang Yan come to a fuller understanding of Yi Fan's life and wishing he could have protected her. The way he stared at her on that stage...I didn't know whether to cry or smile 💗

The lead actors bring depth and authenticity to their roles, making the characters’ emotional journeys feel…
This makes TFF unforgettable to the point many of us keep coming back!

I am not sure but it looks better later when it is styled with smoother waves.

Drama adaptations won't and will never be a hundred percent exact copy of the novel, there will always be changes…
And that is okay too. The good thing is that it was only two episodes and it switched right back to the hotel scene.
I don't look at is as that she left him again. I see it as the creative way in which the director showed us Yifan's past through SangYan's eyes. We as the viewers went on that journey of realization with Sang Yan. It built empathy. It helped bring the drama to the point where most of Yi Fan's life before she left for college was revealed. The final revelation came when Yi Fan opened up to Sang Yan and told him herself.

TFF is my most favorite novel among all the countless of others I had read before, I love Sangyan and Wen Yifan's…
As soon as I saw it I knew the director's purpose of having YiFan leave. And I didn't feel Sang Yan was going through the same pain that he experiences when she left back then. This time was different. Now he knew her reasons. And all he wanted to do was to find her and hold her.

Instead of talking to yourself here on our page. Why don't you just talk to yourself at the mirror? You fool!

Regarding this part: "An original and emotional proposal scene scene. It was beautiful!"I cannot express how much…
Thank you so much. I know some feel TFF is dark because of YiFan's traumatic life in her youth, but I didn't feel that way. If it was that dark, some of us would not keep coming back.

I recently saw an interview with the director where he said the proposal scene was not scripted or some of it was from BJT and Ruonan. I posted the director's interview in discussions at the top of the forum. It was more an emotional proposal than a scripted one.

Truly this drama has so much depth to it and has woven intricate details seamlessly that even through subtle acts…
It set the bar but I have to remind myself not to rate other dramas based on TFF. There are different dramas.

And this is why I described TFF as a beautiful work of art...a masterpiece. It was beautiful to see all the pieces come together. If people watched this paying close attention to the details they would have rated it high. Anyone who rates this as a 1 is either deliberately downrating the drama or is totally clueless.
