She put so many things in front of the door. How could she change and get into bed and end up sleep walking so fast before he even finished the dishes?

I had to rewatch that precious scene in ep 10. Just watching the expressions on Bai Jing Tin's face is a 10 or more than a 10 for me! Both leads did so well. They looked so natural talking about the sleepwalking. But the range of emotions on Sang Yan's face makes BJT one incredible actor. The man can emote! OMG!

But one thing I don't understand though...

I didn’t watch Love’s Rebellion because I cannot see him with Jing Tian. I was going to try but I got distracted with other things.

Did you watch all his dramas? I pick and choose but I love him.

I thought Sang Yan was shifting the blame on himself when he said it was one sided. In China they are not allowed dating in high school which is why his mother said to wait for university as she was thrilled to know Sang Yan liked Yi Fan. I will be rewatching so I will pick up more details and will also try reading the book.

I read through the comments on this thread somewhat. While I understand the reason Yi Fan is so closed up, my heart goes out to Sang Yan for doing so much for her while she has locked him out. I hope she will start to reciprocate because I am starting to feel so bad for him. I loved when she hugged him while sleepwalking. Deep down, she wants his comfort and love, but she locks him out when she is awake. Song Yan shows patience and restraint the way he takes these little baby steps to help her. I am not sure how much he knows about her but the drama shows that he is aware of her mother's rejection. I only watched 8 episodes and going to watch 9 and 10 now.

I started reading the book but I got tired of trying to find the next chapter in the link. I haven't figured out how to use it other than going back to the main page to select the next.

As one who loved Lighter & Princess, I can tell you I also enjoy dramas with pain along way. I literally start feeling anxious when I know I am getting close to the episode where he goes to prison but I also enjoy the beauty in the story. From what I heard, TWOT is tough. I have a friend who told me she had to take breaks in between some of the episodes. I hope CZY gets an award for this .

I also felt that he came from such a loving family that seeing the way her mother rejected her must have been another shock

It is not just about sad endings. I am afraid of how much they suffered in TWOT

Beautiful explanation. I love the point you made that she hurt him and to a person like him it was cruel. He must have been shocked. I felt so bad for him. This is why I hope she gives him the love he deserves.

I cover my eyes if the scenes are too graphic. There is just too much pain in it for me. I will take your advice and watch the suggested episodes

I know it takes a lot of work. No worries. I wish I could watch TWOT. I know it was amazing because I watched the first two eps and could already feel the promise of such depth in CZY's eyes. My friend watched it and told me his performance was amazing. But I am too afraid to watch. I get anxious watching war zone dramas and from what I heard, it is rough with what he went through. I am going to take a look at your companion piece. I think I will select certain scenes or episodes to watch just to see CZY's performance.
