I watched LBFAD while it was still airing. I am happy to say I have forgotten the details and having a great time rewatching it now. I rated this a 10 when I first watched it two years ago and wish I could rate it a 10 all over again. I am only on episode 10 for my second round and I am still totally amazed at the performances of Dylan Wang and Esther Yu!

Maybe in his second chance, he overestimated himself where LR's feelings were concerned and thought she would end up leaving PWX. But this time PWX did not want to let go of LR and both LR and PWX wanted to be open with each other so as not to make the same mistakes.

I have to get over my feelings for the actress. I got turned off her in LOZ because of her mannerisms with facial expressions and the way she looked with her hair pulled back from her forehead and white make up. Maybe the ways she frowned and twisted her lips was just part of the act and she is not really that way.

I agree. They should have left out the romance. It was cringy and the FL is not the best with romance roles. She looks uncomfortable and awkward.

I have watched all you mentioned. I suggest Forever Love 2020. I am not sure which vibe you are looking for because L&P has more angst that any of them but if you are looking for something sweet like Hidden Love, then watch Amidst a Snowstorm of Love.

I would have preferred a wedding also that some parts that didn't feel necessary.

I would have told you to read my review at the time but it has spoilers. I addressed the comments that the SML was the ML. I felt badly for Zhang Ling He when people said he was the SML because he owned his role as ML. He was amazing. Not once did I feel he was the sml. I felt his presence and on rewatch i can pinpoint the moments that made me feel his character was multifaceted. Even if the book readers say his character was not explored as it was in the book, ZLH gave me a clear sense of his character.
I admire you for watching even though the negative comments went rampant here.
