I don't know if I should start any drama while still airing. Sometimes it is such a fun experience to discuss the episodes but the waiting is frustrating especially when they skip days. And also the experience in this forum makes me feel it is better to watch alone. It was such a mood killer to come in here. I would watch an episode and feel happy with the main couple then come in and all I saw were hateful comments against LR and SRQ. I know people are free to comment but in this case, watching first would have been better.

Even though they didn't go into PWX's political career in detail, I could see that he was a brilliant strategist based on how quickly he analyzed situations.

The scene in ep 11 and 12 where they cleared up the misunderstanding was focused on PWX's feelings for QZZ and LR's hurt because she thought he loved QZZ.

The drama didn't put everything out clearly. But certain scenes were significant depending on perspective. From my point of view, the umbrella scene wasn't about LR looking back and yearning for SRQ while PWX walked away with her. Instead, it was a juxtaposition of the past and now where SRQ looked the same and has not changed, but LR and PWX are moving forward having learned from their mistakes. PWX will not step back this time and allow SRQ to step in. Both LR and PWS observed that SRQ looked the same in the umbrella scene. This theme was repeated in the final episode where both PWX and LR told SRQ that he had the choice to change but stayed the same.

I don't think he was absent. In The Double, Duke Su was absent in one episode. I think with TPR there was some talk about the producer giving preference to SRQ , but I don't know the source or too much about it.

Some actors are so good you can feel the sexual tension without seeing any kisses. I know some people are frustrated with Allen Ren because he doesn't do real kiss scenes but he knows how to use his eyes and expressions to make it work. Seven is totally lacking in this regard. I can feel nothing!

I am going by what was discussed in the drama in ep 11/12 where they promised to communicate because it was the misunderstanding about QZZ that led to their separation. I believe there was a scene toward the end when PWX said he was glad she was on his side this time, but I am not sure if that was the cause of their separation according to the drama. I am rewatching this on Netflix once more episodes come out.

*PWX telling LR he will wait for her 10 years or 20 years or however long
*PWX marching up the palace stairs to LR with no fear of the swords directed at him
* LR writing letters to PWX when he was assumed dead
* LR running toward PWX when she heard he was back. PWX hugging LR(disappointed she couldn't get over her trust issue and hug him back at that moment. Dont' know who to blame. Writer of director?)
* LR feeding PWX because his hand was hurt.
* LC's pain on hearing he killed LR ( this was touch because he had just risked his life to save her.)
* I loved the way Tong Ye tries to protect PWX whenever he saw anyone going after him.
* PWX cuddling with LR in bed saying he was not letting go this time
* The heartbreak in PWX and LR's eyes when they died in ep 1. (That was what made me feel they loved each other in their previous lives.)
* QZZ holding back tears when she saw her father in jail but could not reveal herself to him.
* There are more....

I was wondering why I felt nothing watching the intimate scene in ep 22. I felt Xu Kai's expressions were good but Seven doesn't have the right vibe. It just felt so flat! She goes through the motions with no feeling. If she is uncomfortable in intimate scenes, she should stop doing romantic dramas. Spoils it all the time!

The only visuals from the previews I found appealing was Xu Kai's. But I don't rate a drama based on the actors. I love his acting but the cp was not great. I hope now that Xu Kai is changing his agency, he will have better dramas with better cp. I loved him with Esther Yu but I lost interest in the plot half around ep 28 of S&F.

I remember that episode because at the end I felt something was missing without Duke Su! What is it about WXY that he makes everything so good? In AASOL, I wanted to see more of his character and his storyline but sadly they did not deliver. There are dramas I loved but fast forward through secondary couples as they can be extremely boring. But not when it is WXY! I am waiting for him to have a modern drama. I have some actresses in mind that I will think will be great match for him.

I am looking forward to it also and he impressed me so much here. It is not that I didn't love him in SOKP. I did. But the way he portrayed the different sides of PWX made me love him so much more.

Yes! You are right. I will be more careful. It is a good thing that it was cleared up and everyone here so far has been nice. I am excited to see him again and looking forward to more Chen Fei magic!

I loved them so much also. Just watch and enjoy. I watched it while it was airing and stopped reading the comments before I watched an episode.

No argument from me. I came to love him even more after TPR. He was amazing. If people think about the different sides of his character he portrayed they would not have given such a low score. Oh well. It is what it is. Such a shame though.

I have never seen anything like it. It is a good thing Duke Su was so charismatic that he made up for it.

It was lack of communication and misunderstanding. LR thought PWX loved QZZ and he did not explain that he did not. But in the present life they are working on the communication.

Mai Mai is excellent. I love listening to her.

I felt badly for him. He has such grace to address the hatred throw at him. People shouldn't attack the actor. I felt he did well in his final scene because he made me pity him and I could see in his own way he wanted LR to be happy. LR just stared at him and didn't even move to help him staunch the blood. I think he felt he deserved to die because PWX asked him why he didn't dodge the sword. The look of shock on PWX's face when the SRQ was pierced by the sword was one of shock.
