Some people didn't like the ML in L&P and dropped it, but I loved him because I saw glimpses of sweetness in him such as when he covered Zhi Yun with his jacket as she slept on the ground.

I loved this drama and so fed of people trying to beat up on anyone who loves this. Just let me watch the drama and enjoy. Yes, I wish they had reduced SRQ's screen time in the final episode so we could have seen the wedding. This is not the only drama that spent time on a secondary character but in this case I had to watch because the sml knew the truth about LR's death. Did you watch Romance of the Green Forest? The secondary couple had so much screen time and they were so boring I think I hit fast forward through half the drama.

I am NOT blaming novel readings for the ranking. I got 3 hours sleep the last two nights and I have to finish packing for my trip today. I see many typos in my previous comment and don't care right now. If I said something that may have sounded as if I blamed novel readers, I don't care to check and reword because I have explained myself so many times. I watched the drama for the drama and not the book or for who the producer was trying to highlight. I saw PeiRong and loved the cp immensely.
Yes, I was talking about ABAY. I kept trying to go back as people were gushing over the chemistry and I love Xu Kai, but I don't get the hype. I love TPR 100% more!

I am sure it is. But I tried and it was so sad. I will have to be ready to watch it. Love is Sweet was such a pleasure to watch the first time even if I had to fast forward through the second couple.

While I was watching, I stopped reading the comments about SRQ's screen time so I didn't see the trending discussion about the producer and I am not even sure if it is true or someone's assumptions. And I don't care. All I know is I enjoyed LR and PWX. told you before that I watched the drama for the drama and I loved the main couple. If the producer wanted to give SRQ some romantic scenes, it didn't work with me because to me it was one side. I laughed at some of those scenes because I was already convinced with PeiRong. It's too bad you didn't get what you expected. There were parts I wished the drama had left out that were in the book. Maybe the author felt she had make the past really bad for there to be a contrast with the present. But that takes away from the romance. The leads convinced me though. I loved the chemistry. I tried watching another new as many recommended it but I felt no chemistry between the leads.

I literally swooned the way he watched right through the gate and marched passed all the swords pointed on him. But this is not the first time I saw him this way.

I have laughed out with Seven's comedy scenes. Not the drunk scene in ABAY though. It was too overdone.

I am big ZLH fan, especially after TPR. Some fans are upset that he didn't get more screen time as well as other things so gave low ratings. I loved him in this and I am not too focused on SRQ's screen time in the last half of the drama because I thoroughly enjoyed what I saw of ZLH's performance, including the scene with his uncle and the march up the palace stairs! He was awesome. Therefore my reaction is to give this drama all my love with a high rating of 10 because I enjoyed the main leads, especially ZLH. It is all in the viewer's perspective. Some said they loved the drama and couldn't care less about SRQ's screen time. And some are upset with the producer and refuse to rate it highly. There are other reasons but as I went in with no expectations with it as an adaptation of the book, I didn't have any issues there and SRQ did not stop me from loving it because right from the start I saw LR was most interested in PWX. And unlike those who felt LR was undecided about who she liked, I felt both leads loved each other in both lifetimes. Yes, I know I said this a MILLION TIMES! 😂

LR was devastated. It made me cry when she told LC. I didn't want her to tell him.

I am always in the mood for romance but I have to get myself ready for angst. I have yet to to watch TTEOM.

Even though I know some don't want me to say it but I will really quick. I loved this drama. I loved the main couple and especially loved the ML, Pei Wen Xuan. People are upset with this drama for reasons to do with screentime of the sml and the ML not portrayed as well as in the book. I hardly noticed SRQ in the first half and by the time the focus shifted to him, I was already more than convinced that the FL loved the ML so nothing that appeared as romantic with the sml bothered me because I simply didn't buy into it. He gets annoying but I didn't get as upset as others so it didn't affect my enjoyment of this drama and the main couple.

It all depends on you. Zhang Ling He was excellent in portraying his character that I was able to connect with his character as more than just a simp as some see. You have to pay attention to his expressions. There is an edit further down of PWX with many of the scenes which showed his domineering side. I didn't need that edit to show as I could see it from the start. Therefore it depends on your perspective. I didn't know anything about the producer and the sml and not even sure if it is entirely true and I don't care. I only know that I enjoyed the couple so watch for yourself. If you get to ep 12 and still not feeling it then you might want to drop it.

I don't know what that director was thinking! I am still waiting for good kiss scene with WXY in any drama! I was yelling at the screen when that the candle appeared. After the long build up only to be blotted out by a candle!

You should finish AASOL unless you find it boring. I like the sports. The FL is really tops in what she does and has an amazing ability to stay calm under stressful conditions. Her GeGe is played by actor WXY and he is so wonderful to watch💗

LOL! I don't see anything new that I want to watch. I started ABAY for Xu Kai but I don't feel the chemistry. I keep going back especially when I see comments about how good they are together and yet I don't see it. The only good thing about so called hot scenes is Xu Kai because the actress does not have the right vibe for these romance scenes. It falls flat. We all react differently to these dramas 🫢 But I loved PWX and LR. I rewatch their scenes. Love them 💗

I thought it was just me because I saw so many comments saying they loved this. I didn't even find the first night together scene so hot as people said. Xu Kai is great but Seven never seems to get into those scenes. At least now she moves her lips but still feels flat.

Which scene are you talking about with the overacting? I saw a preview weeks ago where the FL is stomping her feet and screaming. Is that the one ? If it is, that was my exact reaction. She overacts.

It is the actress. She doesn't have the right vibe in romance scenes. She is great with comedy or family relationships but the intimate scenes always look as if she is just going through the motions. Even in Road Home it was the same.
