I watched Road Home for Jing Boran. But I still found Seven awkward in the intimate scenes. Road Home and Go Ahead are the only two dramas of hers that I was able to finish and they should have left out the romance in Go Ahead because it was awful to watch.

I fast forward through some but cannot get into it. I felt bad for the ex boyfriend in the beginning and watched that part. I cannot get into the romance with the FL and ML and the business part is boring. I have watched interesting business dramas but this one does not hold my interest.

Lusi wore her own clothes in Hidden Love due to the loss of funding. I love Zhang Jing Yi, but every modern drama I have seen her she wears big loose fitting tops and pants. But Wang Chu Ran is always so nicely dressed. For some reason they keep giving Seven short haircuts except for in Road Home. I am not sure if they think a short hair cut will make her look younger because Xu Kai is younger and has a youthful look.

I put this on hold at ep 12 but not sure I am going to finish it. I keep trying for Xu Kai. I like his acting and he is certainly good looking. But I am not feeling the chemistry. The comments in the forum made the kiss scenes sound hot, but when I watched those scenes, Xu Kai looks great and he gets into character for a kiss scene, but as usual I find Seven lacking. Others who feel the same about Seven told me she is better in ABAY but I don't see it.

The only time I liked her hair was in Road Home. In ABAY it is too short because it emphasizes her face. Her styling in ep 2/3 was nice with her makeup and hair tied back and long bangs in front. Not complimentary when it is short cropped hair around her face. I notice some actresses are always so nicely styled in all their dramas. But Seven is not usually dressed well. Even one of my favorite Zhang Jing Yi wears big boxy clothes. I am not sure how much is their own choice.

I put In Blossom on hold but I loved The Double because of WXY/ Duke Su. I wouldn't say the romance is the best but he was the best!I enjoyed the flirting because of him. I don't think think I would have loved it as much if not for WXY but the FL's revenge story was interesting. I would love to see WXY with some other actresses such as Lusi or Jing Yi. He is a charismatic actor. I am not watching anything new right now. I am rewatching some calming episodes from AASOL which you dropped 😂But i am waiting for Wang Chu Ran's new drama.

Okay. Not your thing. Then watch SOKP. It has quite a lot going on I got confused in the beginning because it felt like so many characters. Do you have a preference for historicals?

I stuck with the drama and loved PWX. I read a few chapters of the book and rather not remember some of it.

It is slow. It takes a long time for them to get together. One of the reasons I like second chance romance is that the couple are already familiar with each other. You should still watch SOKP. If want a good romance without any angst, watch Amidst a Snowstorm of Love or HIdden Love. You probably already watched these. They are great to just relax and enjoy.

I rewatched ep 37 to 40 once the better translations came out and I skipped the tea scene. It was redundant.

Judging by the comments I agree with you 100%. They didn't get it. I felt or sure they would see how deep the couple felt for each other by the time they watched ep 11.

I think a lot of people loved this drama. If people didn't get LR's feelings for PWX after watching ep 11, I don't know if they will get it later. It was quite clear when she ran after him in the rain. In the past life, they away from each other.

I liked him in SOKP but the romance took longer for the leads to get together. ZLH's performance in TPR made me love him more.

I understand LR seemed ambiguous in her feelings but I felt early in the drama that she loved PWX in both lifetimes. She had feelings for SRQ due to her relationship with him in her previous life which I did not see as love. I agree the leads had great chemistry and ZLH and JIn Mai gave an excellent performance. I loved the humor in the drama.

Ep 11/12 will clear up misunderstandings. But it is up to you. If you are not feeling the chemistry by then you probably should drop it. I loved it and started rewatching it on Netflix.

The novel readers say that the book showed more of his political side and strategic skills. The drama gave glimpses of it or just enough to show he is smart and has an excellent mind for strategies.

Not the same vibe.

I am rewatching certain episodes right now and still feel the same! I watched this at least 10 times when it just came out and still love it.

I wanted more.

She loves Inborn Pair on Netflix and I hated it. I dropped it and then I found out from a friend that it doesn't end well. When I asked why she would recommend a drama that doesn't end well, she told me that's life. I do not take recommendations from my mother because open endings or sad endings do not bother her. She simply enjoys the ride.
