I totally understand. I felt the same about that part of the special but I was so relieved the drama had a happy ending I shrugged it off. The amnesia part was a waste. I liked seeing the children and the first part where LR made soup. And I was happy to see Tong Ye.

I hoped they would not include that amnesia chapter. I would have preferred seeing some family scenes. But it was still cute and I just shrug off the amnesia. When I read that added chapter in the book, I did not like it. But PWX made it funny. It is ridiculous because PWX would never wanted to hurt LR. Just treat that part as sick comedy. I am assuming that is the part you didn't like.

I really loved the OST for PeiRong. While it was airing so many complained about SRQ have the best OST. The lyrics for both songs that played for PeiRong are so beautiful.

LR took a long time to admit her love for PWX but I saw it in her actions.

I watched this while it was airing and still here. I haven't had the time to watch anything in the last 2 weeks and even before that I rewatched LBFAD then back to TPR. I loved it so much.

I scroll by them. We should all just ignore them because what they want is attention.

If they honestly don't like a drama, that is up to them. But some like to post negative comments just for attention.

Unfortunately, what the cast or director does affects the drama. I don't understand why the drama must be part of their personal lives. It is punishing everyone for one person's actions.

I have been looking forward to this drama for a long time because of the cp. I like both leads There are too many times I only really like of them or I just don't like the match.

If it wasn't for certain factors in the book, I would read it in full. I wish I had not read chapter 170. I had to tell myself it was in their previous lifetime. Jin Mai and ZLH convinced me they loved each other in the previous and the now.

I have rewatched it many times while it was airing. I love novels too but I did not like certain factors that was mentioned quite clearly in the book. I started my rewatch on Netflix but had to stop as I was travelling and the kids were too distracting. I tried rewatching Hidden Love with my daughter and son in the room but as soon as they started with their comments that reminded me of MDL, I turned it off. Mood killers😂 And all my eldest son had to say about TPR was, "Did they ever explain how they went back in time?" My answer was, "NO! They just did! It doesn't matter." 😂 I cannot watch with them around. I hope your rewatch of TPR will be better than the first.

............Loved your words, and loved PWX for all of these reasons💗💗💗. The reason I loved TPR so much is because this is what I saw in PWX when I watched the drama. ZLH was amazing in the way his changes in expressions conveyed his multifaceted personality. I know some only saw him as a "simp" but I saw so much more in him. I loved him for bravely marching up the palace stairs and LR looking at him with tears in her eyes because he went back for her. And his words: "I am here to die with you, or take you home." Not sure if these are the exact words but my heart stopped when he said this.

Therefore, this is what I saw watching TPR and the reason I loved it so much. Who is SRQ? 😂 I hardly noticed him.

And this is exactly what I saw in PWX. These are the aspects of ZLH's character that made me love him. I didn't read the novel.I only read specific chapters. It is too bad they didn't include the brothel chapter. But there are parts of the novel I did not like and hoped they would keep it out of the drama.

Thank you for sharing this excerpt from the novel. It describes PWX perfectly. Even though you found the drama "a bit meh" this is spirit of the love I saw in PeiRong that made me love it so much. It depends on what stands out for you in the drama. PeiRong stood out for me. And this is why I loved it so much!💗💗💗

There was a Michael in the TPR group posting this very same thing. I know that ZLH's character, PWX, was number 1 for a while. Whenever I say I loved ZLH more after watching him in TPR, I get comments for outraged viewers who think I am comparing TPR with SOKP. I am not. I am simply saying I loved him so much more after seeing him in TPR, so I don't know how anyone can say this is bad year for him. I have yet to start Love's Rebellion, so I cannot comment on him here. But I believe every comment that says he was amazing in this. What I mean is, I find it highly believable.

When she said SRQ had his reasons she meant there was someone else behind it or planned her death with him. She said she saved him and was shocked he would do this. Then she tried to find out who was behind it. Both LR and PWX wanted to get to the bottom of this.

She was upset with PWX when she though the killed her because she loved him. She had deep feelings for him so everything he did and does affects her.

She was devastated to find out about Li Chuan because she loved him and always felt he loved her. When you feel deeply for someone, you will be more affected by what they do than anyone else.

She had feelings for SRQ because she always considered him her closest friend. But she didn't love him. She pitied him. But if your perception of what you saw is that she had deep feelings for SRQ because she was "indulgent" as you say, then that is what you feel. I did not see that.

In the end she didn't even help him as blood was gushing from his stomach. Both PWS and LR jumped toward the fire. And yes, LR was going after him to save him but that I put down to the director going for dramatics because I was convinced quite early in the drama that LR loved PWX deeply. But I understand if you see it another way.

I have seen a few people who just made new accounts to come in here to make negative comments about TPR. Just ignore them.
