Well said! I watched TPR while it was airing and have been unable to watch anything new since. I started my rewatch while on a plane but had to pause because this was a busy week. But I find I pick up on more details watching again. I love PWX's lines. And I love the way ZLH portrays his character. I loved PWX's commanding presence when he needed to be, and I loved the way he would assure LR that he will never leave her every time she asked him if he would be there till the end. She was strong, but she had her insecurities.

I will probably start watching something next weekend. It would be so nice not to have to wait for the next episode.

While I watched TPR, I was focused on PeiRong too and LR might not have taken a long time to admit she only had PWX in her heart but there were many scenes she made it clear she loved him.

This is where we differ. I felt sure LR only loved PWX, so it didn't matter to me what the producer was doing with SRQ. I never saw her gazes at him as one of love. From my perspective she didn't pine for SRQ. I felt she loved PWX in both lifetimes and I could see the difference in the present life when instead of letting him walk away in ep 11, LR got out of the carriage and ran after him. They cleared up the misunderstanding about Zhen Zhen and even though it took LR a long time to fully admit her love for PWX, she showed it in her actions. My perspective is different from yours and I loved PeiRong. You have a different perspective and that is fine.

I didn't watch LYF season 1 yet but I keep hearing it really good. It sounds so confusing though with all the different men in her life. I know season 1 does not end well which is why I waited for season 2 and now I cannot seem to get myself to watch it.

I agree. I felt some pity for SRQ but as LR told him, he had choices. PWX also told him he had choices.

That is good the negativity that swept through TPR's forum is not here. I saw some positive comments here about 2 weeks ago, which is why I was surprised the rating was not higher than the 7.9 it was yesterday. I am glad you are enjoying ZLH in this one. I loved him so much in TPR and he made me enjoy TPR so much. I have no doubt he is amazing in this one. He has moved to the top of my favorite actors 🥰

I can't focus on any new dramas now. I am too busy so I only rewatch favorite dramas. when I have time.

I said the FL took too long to admit her love for ML. As for the sml, I didn't let whatever was happening with him and production spoil my enjoyment of PeiRong. I loved the cp and enjoyed TPR immensely. I am rewatching it and love PWX and all the different aspects of him. ZLH did an incredible job portraying his character, I wish more people would see that enjoy the positive but it is what it is. I am happy to see more people are still watching and love it, while some like you are too bothered by the sml. It cannot be helped so it is what it is. I hope you found something great to watch after. I haven't had the time to start anything new so just rewatching when I have a bit of time. I haven't even watch LYF yet.

No. It was the chapter before that. Chap 170. But you are right that we should just be concerned with their minds and hearts in their second life. The misunderstanding was cleared up and LR only had PWX in her heart. I just rather not read about the previous life in the sense of what was revealed in ep 170. The good thing is Jin Mai and ZLH made PeiRong so good for me I could block it out.

I agree. I hardly noticed SRQ till the second half and it was necessary. i agree with others that his time should have been less in the final episode so we could have seen a grand wedding or more of PeiRong. Bu I am thrilled we got a happy ending!

I know it doesn't matter. TPR was a perfect example of that. I only asked because I haven't kept up with any of it and wondered if something happened in the drama to upset viewers. I thought it was higher two weeks ago. As it is, the rating went up overnight.

Finish it then rewatch. Which episode did you stop? I was like with with AASOL. When I got closer to the end, I took a long walk because I didn't want to finish it. AASOL was all sweetness. Well mostly.

SRQ was annoying in the second half of the drama but I also felt some pity for him. In ep 12, LR said she was not in love with him (the translation said she didn't feel uncomfortable) but she pitied him. I don't think she ever loved him the way she loved PWX. It was more of a friendship.
I loved PWX for knowing when to step in to help LR, and also knowing when to step back. When he took her to see Li Chuan after LR found out LC was behind her death, he told her some roads needed to be walked alone.
I loved everything about PWX!

Well, as you know I thoroughly enjoyed him in TPR. I am looking forward to seeing more of him when I start this. His every expression is a joy to watch 💗

I haven't had the time to watch anything lately and have not started this. I came to check if it ended. Why is the rating so low? Well, I know not to go by ratings but I was surprised to see 7.9 after hearing ZLH is amazing in this...as usual 💗

In the first life but at the end of the novel, There is an added chapter with PWX's viewpoint and I wish I had never read that.
