Yes, I noticed that. For me, it doesn't work when they put older women with Xu Kai. I watched his drama with Yang Zi and thought it was good. She is a great actress but still didn't feel right in the romance department. It was okay. I am really hoping for some better couple matches for Xu Kai. I liked him with Bai Lu same as I liked her with Dylan Wang. I think it all depends on the actress as well.

But as for The Double, I don't notice the age difference at all. The chemistry is amazing. It could be WXY has a certain charisma which makes him appear more mature. Whatever it is, I am thoroughly enjoying this couple pairing.

Oh is this why Xu Kai is often matched with older women? I don't understand why Xu Kai would not be a favorite of Yu Zheng. He is certainly a favorite of many with his looks and charm. I like his acting too. His eyes are expressive and he can be serious and playful. I have a list of actresses I would love to see him with including Lusi. I know he was in a drama with Lusi years ago but I hope there will be another.

I liked Yang Mi in Eternal Love. It is nothing against her but the older woman trope is not a preference of mine. But I can see where once you watch a drama and it works. Find Yourself was one that worked for me, but I love Xu Kai's boyish charm and hoping to see him with someone like Lusi. One reason I didn't watch SAHPH was because I also read the ending was not satisfying. I know I shouldn't pay too much attention to the comments and try for myself but I haven't gotten around to it.

It is an esport drama. I enjoyed it. I loved that there is female member of the team who beats the best of them. And Xu Kai is great in this.

I enjoyed Falling Into Your Smile. That is a fun drama and I can see why they chose him. He has expressive eyes and that smile is something. Waiting for the day they cast him with actresses more suited for him. My personal preference anyway.

I had to watch them a couple times. The last didn't have english subtitles but i heard the other emperor say something about his sister to Duke Su. Is he trying to get the duke to marry her?
