I didn't know about the book, so it was nice to see that something I hoped would happen did. I wish they would know what we don't want to happen and cut back on unnecessary deaths.

Zhao is XFF's brother. Oh are you saying in the book she didn't have a crush on Duke Su?

I thought about that at the beginning too. They were bickering. But I really wanted her with Zhao because he looked so heartbroken.

Then that was where I had my eyes closed. I have been staying up after midnight to watch the new episodes and found myself just listening or woke up to a blank screen because I dozed off.

I just rewatched the extra episode and was happy to note that XFF's brother ended up with Jiuyue. I wanted them to get together when I saw how unhappy he was about the girl he liked and XFF didn't tell him she died. I liked Jiuyue and felt they would be good together.

In the extra episode, I noticed on rewatch that XFF said Jiuyue sent gifts to thank her for introducing her brother to Jiuyue. That means they were together by that time.

I liked Jiuyue. I hoped for one character to be matched with her...

About that tree... the words said "planted with my wife." Who planted that tree? It could not have been Duke Su and XFF because it was so big. Could it be this was years after and XFF was just having flashbacks about the past? Either way, I got a happy vibe from that scene.

I saw ep 40 as a HE. It was the feel of the flowers falling from the tree and the voice of Duke Su saying he would return at that time.

I wish the directors would go on Instagram or somewhere so we could let them know. The two closest to Duke Su were so wonderful for comic relief that I cannot believe they did that to them.

I wonder if they knew The Double would have such an impact? I did not know the extra episode was filmed 3 days ago. I am sure they read the comments and realized they better make it clear Duke Su was happy at the end.

If anyone is looking for something to watch to help with withdrawal, I am watching Beauty Strategy. The episodes are 12 mins long but it has kept me interested. I watched up to ep 14 and there is a big kiss scene in ep 7. Oh, but I still miss Duke Su!

They want awards for creativity. What gets me mad is when they take a happy ending from the book and make it an open ending.

I would also love to see her with Xu Kai!

There are other dramas with extra episodes to make it happy. I don't know why they don't just make it happy in the final episode. I think they win awards for creativity and that is what the directors are going for. Look at Bright Eyes in the Dark. The book ending was happy.

And she keeps making the same expressions and dancing around like a crazy woman.

I took it for granted he was safe. After all, he is Duke Su. Why did they have to add on the extra fight scene?

The extra fight was not needed especially with what happened.

I am excited for another Lusi drama! I would love to see her with WXY.
