I am on ep 20 of BCE and the one thing I saw the mother do was outrageous but I am not as upset with her as I expected to be after all the comments. However, I didn't watch the earlier episodes as attentively as I am now so maybe this is reason she didn't get to me as much. I pray she doesn't do anything as crazy as the engagement party.

This is an excellent drama with outstanding performances. I am binge watching right now.

He does seem like a good person and I felt badly for him. He seems to really love her but was too afraid of his family's objections.

I haven't seen it and don't mind spoilers. Looking forward to it!

In the middle of my crying in ep 19, I looked at Xu Kai and thought, " So handsome!" LOL! He is awesome in this.

It is one of those dramas that make you think. Xu Kai and Yang Zi are amazing in this .

I feel differently. I am only on ep 19 but it is so much more than a greedy mother and exboyfriend.

This is an excellent drama. Watch it and see for yourself. I get bored easily, but once I got into this, I am so captivated by the dynamics. Beautiful performance by Xu Kai and Yang Zi and also grandma. This is one of the dramas you feel deep in your soul.

I am wondering is she did something else because I am not finding her as so bad as not to want to watch the drama. She seems to love her daughter and wants to reconcile. Right now I am crying. I was not expecting ep 19. Awesome performance by Xu Kai and Yang Zi.

I was enjoying BIA more also and that is why I watched it first. But now I am into BCE, it is really very good. I am crying though. Not sure if you go to that part yet.

When both BIA and BCE started, I was busy taking care of a few things and tried watching the first few episodes. I missed some things in both but don't want to backtrack. I have to tell myself that if I don't watch the screen, I cannot read the subtitles. I figure I will get it on the rewatch!

Really? From what I understood, Hua Jing did something to Hua Zhi then when Hua Jing went to see Hua Zhi's grandmother, she caused her death. I don't see why anyone would dislike Hua Zhi.

He said it at time he did it. I didn't see any explanation for it in ep 29. Oh, are you referring to what happened to the 6th prince? I miss a lot when I watch late at night because my eyes close and I just listen to the drama as if I could actually understand. LOL!

As I have already seen the engagement party scene, I am afraid if there is anymore like this. That was tough to watch but I cannot imagine she will do anything else.

I can see from the one scene with the engagement party but it is just part of the story and there is more of the couple by ep 15 I think. They are so cute together especially with grandma laughing at their bickering.

It is a great drama. I saw what the FL's mother did but I don't understand why that would turn people off the drama. I think she is sorry for what she did and loves her daughter. I am on ep 17 and not sure if she is going to do something else. Other than the mother, I can see the relationship between the leads developing and the grandma is such delight.

This is a really good drama. Watching Yang Zi perform in ep 15 reminds me that she is a great actress. Why is the rating so low? And yes. I am loving Xu Kai in this!

Thank you. I got it now and also just saw the hospital room scene where ML tells FL about his past. I started BCE just to take a peek and paused it to watch Blossoms in Adversity while more episodes of BCE was being released. Don't quite remember everything from the earlier episodes but rather not go back. Waiting for BIA next episodes and really into BCE now. Xu Kai is so good in this! As always, his eyes are so expressive.

I am presently watching Xu Kai in BCE and willing to give this one a try for Xu Kai. Unlike some Xu Kai fans, I don't always love his dramas and have dropped some. But I still love him! You should watch BCE. I know what you mean about the trailer for ABAY. But I am going to give it a try for Xu Kai is all I am saying.
