I need to find something else to watch.I have a list but it depends on my mood.

Just to let you know I finished. I cried for Granny. Loved Yun Shen. I did not like the number of times he got hurt. I did not like Country M as a setting and it made me so tense with wall the shootings. And again, absolutely loved Yun Shen!

Forever Love (2020) No break ups once they get together in college. Healthy relationship. Nothing is really like Hidden Love.
You Are My Hero with Bai Jing Ting. No break ups. I loved him in this.

I cannot believe the anti fans are still going after this show. Ever since the first day HL came out there have been comments and reviews from people who haven’t even watched it.

I understood what you are trying to say. However, I it depends on what you get from a show. The family connection was amazing in Go Ahead. But it is not a rewatch for me. HL I have already rewatched many times and I absolutely love the family relationship between Sang Zhi and her parents and especially her Ge Ge. And as for the romance, it was absolutely beautiful. The FL comes from a loving family. The ML did not. And yet he had the kindest soul even though he had to grow up with the stigma of what his father did. He came to realize he was worthy of being loved and he could be happy too. The chemistry between the leads of HL in terms of romance, far surpasses that of the leads in Go Ahead. And in my opinion this show that had me watching over and over again is a 10 to me and apparently many others.

Hidden Love has emotional depth. People can watch on a lighter scale or look deeper. I watched Go Ahead and while the family relationship was great, I did not feel convinced in terms of the romance between the main leads. I cringed watching that part. However, with HL the romance was beautiful and the relationship was meaningful not as you say “fantasy.”

I finished it. I am too much on edge right now to write much. I didn't like the County M setting because all the gunmen put me on edge.

Cheng Yi was adorable in this drama. Was it melodamatic? Yes. The ML was injured way too many times. But I loved him!

I don't see him as weak at all. He has his reasons. He plans things out. He loves his mother and will protect her, yet at one point he told her what she did was horrible. I have never seen him neutral. He always knows what is right to do. He is the strongest character in this drama.

I know but he is a thinker. Before I started the show, I read that he was weak for not standing up to his mother and his brother. This might be the unpopular viewpoint but I find him strong in will and wisdom. He is not weak. Just because he does not react in vengeance and anger does not make him weak. He knows what is going on. He is aware and he knows that he has to be smart. He handles his mother his way. I love him.

Glad you liked it! I watched it 3 times already. It is on my rewatch list along with Lighter and Princess.

When Jun Shen evenutally gets his mother's share, he will be even more powerful. Even if the brother is CEO, Yun Shen will have more votes.

The screenwriter is under the impression the more injuries the better the melodrama , but I am here screaming "THIS IS RIDICULOUS!"

I have been so patient with this show and even understanding of the brother and the mother up to this point.( I did not see the near drowning part. I must have fallen asleep late one night and not seen it.) But they went overboard on him going into the hospital injury on top of injury. Well, I am off watch the rest of the drama. Ep 31...

So Yun Shen ended up with more power?

I just watched that part and will finish the rest of the drama tomorrow. I keep falling asleep!

Did he take away the company from Yun Shen?

It looks like an edited version of the drama, if they had really ended it this way then it would be assumed he lived and he went home as he promised.

How could he go through surgery again only to have his mother push him down and he ends up in the hospital again? This is ridiculous. Too much!
