This is not as bad as what happened with Bright Eyes in the Dark. I understand your disappointment but at least the couple had a happy ending.

I really don't find the brother as bad as the comments here were saying. And I don't find the ML weak at all. But I am on ep 28 so not sure if the brother gets worse. Right now I am feel bad for him because he wants his wife back. I don't think it is just for business. I think he loves her.

They call it an open ending. Some differ and says he dies.

I might have missed an episode because I watch Viki on different devices and it might not have synced correctly. What I am seeing so far is that his mother loves him. He is all she has as her husband did not love her. I know she wants him to take over from the half brother for her own reasons and I also want him to gain more power so he can do more and not be at the mercy of his brother.
As for the brother, it appears he was a good brother before but now he wants to kick out the family and take over out of revenge. I don't think he is all bad and there is part of him that loves his brother. I need to watch more but so far I can understand the ML not fighting back the way viewers want him to

I remember last week I saw some comments and anger about the ML being weak. I don’t find him weak at all. I feel he is cautious and wise. He thinks things through. I will talk more about it once I have watched more episodes.

I watched it so many times I have to stop so I can at least forget some parts and get some sweet surprises again! It is one of my favorites too!

I haves seen some sweet moments. Cheng Yi is adorable. I love his acting.
