I know right? I must be in the denial stage. I love the couple and I keep watching the last 15 mins. The dance scene was beautiful but I would still like to have 5 mins with that director 😡Even though I am so mad at the turn the show took after ep 35, I still love Nan Chu and Lu Xiao😭

He did not deserve it and to sacrifice his life for the man who caused the problem was too much. I was so mad. The couple in this show was the best in terms of getting together early and having such a loving relationship. It broke my heart all that they went through and then the ending for all it was beautiful in itself was just so disappointing Even if I convince myself he did not die, I am still sad.

Yu and Da Gang. I was so sad about Yu because his wife divorced him and he had a beautiful little girl who loved him. Da Gang wasn’t even with the team anymore because he beat up the guy who caused Yu to die. Da Gang died in a fire trying to save people as a civilian. Then on top of all that we got an ambiguous ending.

I usually don't like the extra storylines but as I got to know the firemen, I didn't mind at all. Yes, the constant theme of serving one's country was too much especially since they were willing to die even knowing they would leave behind a heartbroken loved one. But for the couple, I could forgive if only they had given us a happy ending.

My Journey to You did not affect me the way this one did. Maybe it is because I went in knowing about the ending but with Bright Eyes I expected a Happy Ending. And I felt more connected with Nan Chu and Lu Xiao.

I did not drop my rating for Bright Eyes in the Dark. I know many did because on the day the final episode came out, the rating dropped. I am not happy with the ending but I can see it was beautiful in itself.

For sure! I would join you. I even looked up the director and screen writer. I think they are getting some criticisms over there. I hope so!
However, it is not a sure thing that he died. It is an open ending. On the surface it appears that he died because of the empty seat and the sad faces. But then he appeared at the back of the theatre only we don't know if he was really there or it was her vision of seeing him there in spirit.

There is a script that said he was late but who knows if it was really the original or quickly put together. It is obviously and open ending though. There was nothing in there that confirmed without a doubt that he died.

Well it saved you from heartache but it is an open ending so take it as you will. I don't regret watching . The couple had such chemistry and connection that I miss them. I also miss the other characters.

I posted it somewhere below. There are no english subs that I know of so far but I got some translated by a friend and I could understand, "....Meiyou si." I am sure you have heard the word "meiyou" many times in the dramas. It means "no." "si" is 4 or also death so he said his character did not die.

I think it was the director using his creative abilities. I am not sure. I hope the Chinese netizens are giving him a hard time right now and maybe we might get an extra episode.

I read through the comments and from what I understood, she was expressing a preference that the sml would be more suited to the role of ML. What is wrong with that? It doesn't mean there is any hate toward the actor. She was just expressing a preference. I think in any discussion group people will differ and as long as it is done respectfully there shouldn't be an issue. He is one of the best-looking Korean actors I have seen and to be clear, I watch more Cdramas than Kdramas so I am not the one to say. But so far he is one of the best looking to me and I cannot imagine anyone "hating" on him.

I took a look at her profile and she does say True Beauty was one of her first dramas and she loved it. There is nothing in anything she said that indicated any dislike for the actor.

I agree. They need to redo it. They really messed up a good thing.

Trust me when I tell you I don't even know what to think. I was just thinking it through. It goes around in a circle. One big open circle. I really loved the couple and also the firefighters.
