I am moving on to South Wind Blows. It is a struggle to leave and even this morning I rewatched the last 15 mins of the Bright Eyes in the Dark. I miss them so much. I will be back to visit. This is an awesome group.

The ML and his brother have a great relationship.

One person liked the FL but that ended right away and they were just friends. Beautiful mature relationship between the FL and ML. They are the reason I don't regret watching but I must warn you that it has an open ending.

It is an open ending. If you read my post above about the ending you will see. All I can say is I don't regret watching and I don't even like open endings. I loved the leads and the characters. Beautiful chemistry between the leads.

I am only on ep 4 and finding the ML so adorable. When you say soft side, is this what I see some complaining about? I some comments about filial piety.

I am behind and only on ep 4. Yun Shen is adorable. I can see from the comments there are some rough roads ahead. I hope he doesn't change too much.

The last 15 mins is certainly something. If you skip 35 to 40 then you will miss the parallelism between the main leads and and Nan Chu's parents.

I wondered if I was in denial! And maybe I am delusional because I am thinking maybe he simply arrived late. It is obvious the director was trying to be creative with his editing. He showed the number of the seat to be 34 and then after he zoomed in on the empty seat next to his comrades and that was #1. You can see when he entered the theater it was at the back top right corner where it was completely empty and he looked down. This is an open ending but the director left signs all over the place. It depends on what you see or believe. The dance scene was full of symbolism. First, we saw the fire scene then after Lu Xioa entered and it changed to snow. Fire and snow. Hot and cold. I could go on. The use of opposites could be the director's way of portraying the conflicts we face or just to emphasize the emotions because Lu Xiao cries here. You can say we are delusional and he just simply dead but is it that simple?

I just started this drama. I have to say the theme song is already doing its part in getting me emotionally invested. The first episode was certainly entertaining. This producer knows how to hook the viewer. I keep saying I will never start another show before it has ended, but I am taking the plunge.

No. They are all alive in the theatre. The only one who is missing is Lu Xiao but he could just be away on duty. This is why it is an open ending. I keep going back to what Nan Chu said about Lu Xiao protecting the country and she protects him. But you are right. This was such a beautiful drama with one of the most mature and supportive couple.

I am trying to move on and I started South With Knows. The first episode is entertaining and I love the tone. I guess the tone will change as I saw many comments about melodrama.

I just started South Wind Knows. Not sure what is going on as it started with her seeing him in a wheel chair and then it went to scene with him standing and healthy. I am not sure if it the future or flashback. I love Cheng Yi. I saw him in Love and Redemption. I am going to watch some more, but I am sure this is a good one. The acting is already amazing. With Bright Eyes, Jing Yi is one of my top favorite actresses. She is natural in a way that I don't see that is many actresses. She makes the romance natural and believable. I know I am going to love Cheng Yi.

How is the chemistry between the leads in South Wind Knows?

That dance scene was so beautiful. I have been waiting for this performance since it was first mentioned that the team was going to do a dance competition. We only saw them practicing before.
If only the screen writer had made it real that Lu Xiao made it to the performance before it was over. I have watched the last 15 mins of the final episode many times already. That #34 on his seat is standing out for me also. It does not mean death. It means he position life is difficult as he is in a field where he could die in the line of duty. Death is not conclusive with #34 which is life/death or life is difficult.

I want to believe him but not sure if he said that just to comfort the fans. He said his character was not dead and that is was an open ending. I also saw signs that Lu Xiao might just be away on duty. We just have to look into the all the significant details. The thing that comforts me is when Nan Chu sees him in her mind and said that he should go protect the country and she will protect him. How can she protect him if he is dead? This is the part of the last 15 mins that I am holding on to. In addition, the last time we saw them together he told her he would never break his promise and his last promise is that she should wait for him at home. He promised.

It moves fast at one point where she goes from a rising to star to a superstar.
