I agree. The synopsis mentioned “ second time around.” Therefore this is a second chance love drama. I am going to wait till more episodes are out before I start but I am curious as to how they tell the story. With Lighter and Princess they went back and forth in the first episode then they went back and told the story from the very beginning so we got to see how their love grew.

In the synopsis it states “ They once again feel the tug of romance, and resolve to try to make love work the second time around.” This is definitely a second chance love.

Why is it such a big deal if she commented that she is disappointed that the show is a second chance storyline? She didn’t hate on anything. People express disappointment and it is natural especially in a discussion group. This year I looked forward to seeing Xu Kai in She and Her Perfect Husband but I was so disappointed to see that his costar was an older woman. And I have commented several times that even though I love watching Xu Kai, I skipped that show because I do not like the older
woman trope. Not because someone expresses disappointment means they are hating on anything.How does it stress you out that she is disappointed? I really get disappointed every time I see my favorite actors with an older woman costar. I go into that moment when it is “Oh no!” There is nothing wrong with expressing thoughts.

I cannot find anything just like it. If asked which other show makes me feel I cannot move on, then the one that comes to mind is Hidden Love. If you asked which other actress is similar to the FL in L&P, Jhang Jing Yi, I would say Wang Chu Ran. I get the same vibe from both Wang Chu Ran and Jhang JIng Yi. If you have not watched Fireworks of My Heart with Wang Chu Ran, then I suggest you do. The FL in Forever Love 2020 is also similar but the overall show is not as intense.

I watched Meet Yourself first and loved it. Hometown Cha Cha paled in comparison when I watched it after. I could hardly finish it.

I could hardly finish Hometown Cha Cha. It was so boring I just skipped to the end. Meet Yourself is much better.

I am not familiar with the Korean actors. I will look them up. I keep checking to see if Bright Eyes in the Dark is coming out. If you watched the BTS for L&P and the day they met on set it is funny how shy Zhang Jing Yi looked and yet she looks so comfortable and natural on camera.

I really think it is what we get from L&P that makes us love it that we will look for in other shows. For me I loved the genius ML and the smart FL who loved and understood him and accepted him for who he was. I loved the ML who though he was quiet and didn't say much in terms of his feelings, still gave the impression that he would die for the FL or would do anything to make her happy. Ep 23 was painful but I understood his emotions concerning his sister and thank goodness there was a time skip right away so the couple didn't feel separated for too long. I love the FL for her calm presence and the way she supported the ML. I didn't see any of these things that I loved in Legally Romance. I did see it in Forever Love 2020 but not to the extent or depth of L&P. But Forever Love is still a nice watch. The FL is also smart and she is calm and not as annoying as the one in LR.

I will say the ending was not rushed and this was a great positive. It needed more romance for both the main couple and the barely secondary couple. The last two episodes captivated me. I was running out of patience with the middle part of the drama and the evil princess. But at least the ending was not rushed.

I had the same feeling. I could not read the words because the song covered it.

I felt sad for Shen. The princess was doing it for herself.

I am not saying anything about why you loved L&P and recommend Legally Romance. I am only saying the FL was just too annoying for me to really enjoy Legally Romance even though the ML was good. It is not on my rewatch list because it did not give me the same vibe or emotional feel as L&P. To me , and I would think to others, it is the feel and the chemistry of L&P that made me find it hard to move on. With Legally Romance I couldn't get through the last episodes and ended up fast forwarding just to done with it. I had enough of the FL.
As I said before, it is just me because the comments on that page are positive. I don't like watching this actress.

I am on ep 37. I cannot believe the Emperor would turn against this uncle. This must be a plan. I bet it will turn out that Lord Ding and the emperor are just doing this as a plan.

Not many actresses have the ability to connect with the ML lead the way the FL in L&AP does. What I did like about the FL in Forever Love is that she looks out for the ML. I love the way she gave up her expensive apartment so that she could use the money to get the ML an apartment near the company he interned . He was working late and commuting too far. She went back to the dorm. She was also smart.

What made me love L&P was not in Legally Romance. I liked the ML in LR but the FL was too annoying. I didn’t get the same feel.

I rewatched L&P to help move on from Hidden Love then got stuck on L&P again. They are not the same storyline but there is something about the intense chemistry between both.

Are you talking about the FL in Legally Romance? She is the one I do not like watching but the one on Forever Love is natural looking to me.
Now I see that you comment on Falling Into You and not Forever Love.
