Plot Love is only on iQiyi I think. My subscription expired yesterday so that is it for me. I was not in the mood to watch Love You Seven Times so hopefully it comes out on Viki for me to have that option

@Jilly. I used fast forward through all of the second couple. I loved Ester with Bin Bin especially when i see his lips quirk when she is doing something silly. I also watched him in Here We Meet Again even though Janice Wu's expressions especially what she does with her eyes and lips can be so unattractive. I still loved the show but wish she would stop doing that thing with her eyes and lips. And about Bin Bin in HWMA. What a kiss!I don't know which other cdrama the ML goes for the neck!

You should watch Forever Love. The FL is the top student and class president.

I usually find the mini series does not develop enough to really get you but Plot Love was quite well done. My son put his youtube account on my tv against his better judgement because he was afraid he would see all my cdramas trending! But I am so happy no ads! I started reading the novels too and presently reading As Beautiful As Beijing for the Xu Kai's show that is coming maybe next year. The show is called As Beautiful As You. I am disappointed that is Tan Song Yun (Seven Tan) who was casted as the FL because I do not see her with him and I don't like watching her in kiss scenes. I know if there are any of her fans here they will take instant offense but it is my personal preference. It is just the way I feel. I just saw a clip for the show and I already cannot stand it, but I will try for Xu Kai and the fact that the book is quite good so far.

Exactly! I think many others feel the same way. Considering all they went through to get back together, we should have seen a wedding a child in a 5-year skip. But the beautiful roof garden he made for her and the surprise house made it somewhat forgivable. This is not the first show that disappointed me with the final episode. A Date With the Future also wasted time on another rescue scene or something like it. Have a Crush on You was also disappointing even though I didn't regret watching it. It is more of a let down that they build you up to a wedding and they spend the time on something else.

I think all episodes are there for Plot Love in IQiyi. My son got me a subscription but except for a few shows like Plot Love, Viki has most of what can be found on IQiyi and more so I had him cancel it. I could never find all of Plot Love on youtube so I finally got to watch it on iQiYI. I really liked Plot Love because that little boy was super cute. I also liked Just Spoil You. You should give it a try.

I watched on Youku but if you are saying there are extra scenes on Netflix I will rewatch. I watched it at the same time I watched Hidden Love and had to wait for the episodes to be released.

Have you seen Hidden Love? There are so many Cdramas that will leave you feeling good, but you should try HL if you have not done so.

I also like this aspect of the FL. She might not have been a top student in math but she was strong in English and even helped some of the students in Class 1.

Definitely Hidden Love if you have never seen it. Try Our Secret, Le Coup de Foudre, Forever Love.

Are you one of those who only watched Kdramas until Hidden Love? LOL! Tell me what you liked about Hidden Love so I can help you with this. For me, I loved the way the main leads in HL grew in their love for each other. There are some toxic people in HL but the focus is more on the relationship between Sang Zhi and Jiaxu. I also enjoyed the brother/sister relationship. The actress Zhao Lu Si and the actor CYZ worked together in a way I missed them when it ended. I can see from the BTS and also the interviews they did together that they are naturally like that. It was such a joy to watch. and made it hard to move on.

First of all, there is nothing exactly like Hidden Love. Yes, it is a youth show.
It is sweet. There are several like that and if that is what you are looking for then WIFTY is definitely a great show to watch but as I said before, I fast forwarded in parts concerning the secondary leads.
If you are looking for something like that intense love vibe you see in Hidden Love, try Lighter & Princess but be patient with the first episode as it starts in the present, then goes back and forth in a way I found confusing at first. I cannot move on from the two leads in L&P. This is not a high school drama at all and it begins in college. I have watched L&P 4 times since it was released last year.

If you are looking for a sweet youth drama, try Our Secret with the same actor as HL. I loved CZY in Our Secret but he is even better in HL. Another youth drama that I liked is Forever Love where the FL is smart and pretty. I am tired of youth dramas with the FL at the bottom of the class while the ML is the genius. In this drama, they are both smart and there is no break up once they get together in college. It starts in high school and goes into college around episode 7.

Do try Falling Into Your Smile. It is on Netflix. It does have computer games competitions and I liked watching that too. This is where you will meet Xu Kai who was perfect for this show. When you see his smile, you will understand. I have watched this many times!

There are lots more Cdramas. I have enjoyed a few Kdramas but nothing in Kdrama has topped any of my favorite Cdramas. You can let me know what you are looking for in a show and I can give you more recommendations. Welcome to Cdramas!

I did say it was worth watching. I do think it is a sweet drama and I liked it very much. But there are others like it. HL was unique for me and obviously for many others. It has become a first Cdrama for those who only watched Kdramas before from what I see in the comments on Instagram. They are asking for recommendations for other cdramas and it is hard to do because there is none like it. I recommended Lighter & Princess because both shows left me feeling that it was so hard to move on. L&P has more focus on the antagonist but the chemistry between the leads of both gave me the same vibe.

I gave Wifty a high rating but not the 10 I gave to HL. It is similar in that they are both youth dramas and are both sweet. But the vibe I got from watching HL is not the same as from watching WIFTY. Therefore, if people are looking for that same feel, I would not recommend WIFTY just because it is another youth drama. It all depends on what aspect of the show that left you more of an impression.

And again, I tell anyone who asks to go ahead and watch WIFTY as it is definitely worth the watch. I also need to rewatch because I feel watching HL at the same time might have affected the way I watched WIFTY.

I watched them at the same time and the feels I got from HL just overpowered what I felt from watching WIFTY. I do plan on rewatching WIFTY sometime later. In the meantime, I have already rewatched Hidden Love several times.

To me, it doesn't have the emotional depth of Hidden Love. It is sweet and I do recommend watching it but I found myself fast-forwarding through the second couple. If you are looking for something light and fluffy and love high school romance this might just be perfect for you. Personally, I did not find it as captivating as watching Sang Zhi and Jiasu's relationship. The chemistry and the strong emotions from HL hooked me. There is something unique in HL. WIFTY is sweet and comes highly recommended by some but as you said you are bored, it might not have the magic touch to make you love it. I watched it and enjoyed even though I hit fast forward a few times. Other than being a sweet high school show, it did not stand out the way Hidden Love and Lighter and Princess did for me. While I liked WIFTY, I was surprised to see the rating. Sometimes you cannot go by rating, so if you are not feeling the 9.0/10 rating the show has, don't force yourself and find something else. I highly recommend Lighter and Princess if you are looking for something with more emotional depth that will make you unwilling to let go. L&P is more intense though so if you want a youth drama with less intensity, try Forever Love.

Xu Kai has the best smile. I think Tan Song's hair in Road Home suits her face more than the short style. I guess this is going to be her style for this show.

HL is definitely unique because of the main leads. I don't think another pair could have made it this good in terms of all the feels. There was sadness but it was all so beautiful they way they were there for each other.
