The FL had that one expression but it was good to see her competing. I think she did well to show that part of it. Other than that, it was just perfect.

LOL! I couldn't watch Esther in Moonlight which was the first show of hers that I tried. It was her voice! I went back to my friend who recommended it and told her I couldn't watch and she told me I would get used to it. I did not finished that show till after I watched her with Dylan Wang and loved it. Then I watched her in ROTLF with Bin Bin and enjoyed it. The setting switches to her hometown at some point and it was all so beautiful. There is a scene with the ML's little brother where she had to dress up in costume to team up with him in a competition that made me laugh so much. But I understand when it is hard to push forward when certain aspects just does not sit right. Now I am really used to her and like her. What a switch!

Oh I remember that! I cannot tell you how many time I watched Falling Into Your Smile. My friend is just watching it and loves it. Her husband complained that he heard he laughing late at night as it woke him up.

With high school Cdramas, there will never be kissing scenes. I am still in the high school episodes with this show. I am not in a rush because it is not all out yet and while I like it so far, it is not addictive for me so far. Some dramas such as Forever Love, will start showing the romance as soon as they get to college.

How do you know both are good at kissing scenes? Have you seen the FL in another show?I don't even remember a kiss scene in WIFTY.

I agree. Sometimes the sabotage that goes on is just too much it aggravates me and that is not enjoyable. Hidden Love had that stalker girl but it was not too much as Jiaxu stayed away from her and the show was not too focused on her. Her scenes were quick.

You should just keep going because sometimes shows slow down then pick up. It is a nice story.

I don't know why viewers care what they do in their private lives. That is their business. I care about the show, how the actors perform, and how they make be feel. For me it is not only that I think Xu Kai is so handsome, I really like to watch him because his eyes are expressive and he can put on a cold face or a smile and turn it into a flirty face.

I am not sure about open endings. I want to watch it as it looks good but I didn't want to watch if she dies at the end.

@Looking4secondarycouples. If you liked Esther in TLBAFAD, you might like her in Romance of the Little Forest. She is both silly and serious in this drama. The reason I just had to tell you this is because of your name! In ROTLF, I had to hit fast-forward through the secondary couple. LOL!

As for Dilraba, I liked her character in You Are My Glory because Jing JIng and Yu Tu had a mature and understanding relationship and she did not keep the one expression on her face in this one as she did in other shows. But I can see why might not watch her in other dramas.

Everyone reacts to different aspects. There is a 5 year age gap and the romance did not start till college. It might be the visual of the child actress that made that impression on you but that is up to you. I didn't watch Xu Kai in She and My Perfect Husband because the older woman of 8 years is not my cup of tea especially when she looks older. Glad you found a show you enjoy so much. I have a rewatch list. My comparison between WIFTY and HL was in response to a question from someone who is finding WIFTY boring and expected more based on the rating. If you note, I said WIFTY is sweet and worth watching. I rated HL a 10 and might have given WIFTY a 9 or 9.5 because there were some boring parts for me.

I had to scroll back up to where I compared the shows. Taken in context, I was responding to someone who said the reviews were high but she found it boring. If you go back to my comment I said it was worth watching, I assumed she already watched HL as that show is trending all over the place. There is nothing wrong with comparing as base reference. I ask my friends all the time when they give me recommendations to compare to something else I have watched. I have already explained that I was too into HL at the time and was watching it a the same time. Even though I did like it, I didn't feel as connected with it as I was with HL. And I also found some parts boring and hit the fast forward button. I think it is a given that people like different things. If I say I prefer one show over another, I don't expect it is a must for someone else. It is just my opinion.

I am sure you are not alone. And that is fine. It just comes down to how a show makes you feel. I know CZY's flirty eyes give me the love vibes. I noticed them in Our Secret. I am trying to forget Hidden Love just so I can watch it again and I have already watched it so many times! Plus HL has more emotional depth that impacted me more so than WIFTY. I keep wanting to go back to watch the beautiful scenes in HL.
