Thank you so much! It was never my intention to be malicious to the FL in this drama. I was truly disappointed. Xu Kai has 2 recent shows out I did not watch and I have been waiting for something really good after Falling Into Your Smile. I watched his show with Bai Lu and liked it too. But I didn't watch Xu Kai's last two shows.
I heard that She and Her Perfect Husband did not have a satisfying ending, so I decided not to watch it. Also, I am okay with Yang Mi as an actress but the older woman trope is not my thing and she looks older, than Xu Kai, so I skipped it. I did not watch Snow Eagle Lord because I heard it was not a romance and the reviews have not been good. Therefore, when I saw this show I got excited to see Xu Kai in a modern drama, but I was instantly disappointed to see Seven as his costar. I did not read the book for Go Ahead, but as one member said she was in character for the kiss scenes. I get that. But I also watched her in a few others and even though I finished Road Home, I didn't get the right feel from her. The actress in romance drama does not have to be a top actress for me to watch. I am looking for great chemistry and romance is my favorite genre and the intimate scenes are part of it. And Seven for me is not great in intimate/kiss scenes. She looks as if she doesn't want to do them.

Yes, I did binge watch Go Ahead just last week. It took me a long time to finally watch after so many told me it was great and I loved it. The romance part of it was lacking though.

I am on ep 7 and I was looking forward to them growing closer together in college with some sweet moments. It seems to have much promise. But if this is all there is till the end then that would be disappointing.

Which episode is this? I am on ep 6. I must have been distracted and missed a part because I don't understand which uncle is in the hospital or what is going on there.

??? I am not sure to whom you are speaking. I am only on the 6th episode and they are still in high school. However, when they get to college it would be nice to see them holding hands, hugging, or any form of affection. It adds to feel of romance.

I have to check it out. I think I took a look when it just came out and I do not remember why I did not watch it.

I feel Forever Love has a mature FL in high school also.

I don't think the cast is confirmed for First Frost. I heard Wang Chu Ran might be the female lead but that might be rumors. I hoping to see Sang Zhi and Jiaxu in First Frost, but it would be disappointing if they used different actors.

Just remember to stick with it as the beginning is a little strange. When I rewatched it, I liked it even more.

I felt the ML was great with the romance scenes. You could feel the emotions because of his eyes but the female lead was too awkward in Go Ahead for me to enjoy it. I think she is a good actress but not in intimate scenes.

I liked Go Ahead enough to stay up all night. I just do not like her in romance scenes. It was the family scenes that I loved. It was so beautiful wth way a girl without a mother somehow adopted two boys without mothers and formed such a strong bond.

Their gazes and the music and just the way they were together was so addictive. The FL is one of my favorites. She is attractive and her acting is natural. I am waiting for Bright Eyes in the Dark to come out where she costars with Johnny Huang.

It took me a long time to watch it because I don't like watching Seven Tan in romance scenes. No offense to you if you are big fan but just telling it as it is. When I watched it, I loved the family. I was crying my eyes out by ep 10. I stayed up all night and binged. The romance was lacking. I didn't feel the chemistry on the part of the FL where the romance was concerned. But the show was great otherwise.

Ha! Ha! I will tell my friend you agree with her about the haircut. I don't mind it and trust me there is a lot that affects me with some that I cannot watch their shows unless I push through. I like both leads in Forever Love.
If you watched Lighter & Princess, the ML had blond hair then he changed back to a darker color. Then it was cut off. But I don't care what hair looked like. The chemistry was so good even my friend didn't mind!

I started watching it but from what I read about the ending I stopped.

I watched Go Ahead and Road Home. Go Ahead was amazing concerning the family relationship but the romance was lacking. I would say she was playing her part but I find her awkward in all her kiss scenes. She is not like Wang Chu Ran or Lu Si, or Bai Lu in intimate scenes. I watched Road Home for the Jing Boran and I just tried watching it again, but I couldn't. Have you seen the BTS with Ester Yu showing Dylan Wang how to kiss? It is so cute. Zhao Lu Si did the same with CZY. The BTS kiss scenes were better than the actual show!

You asked someone else for recommendations of shows with steamy kisses, so I will add my suggestions:

*** You have to be patient and wait for the first big kiss. There are 40
episodes and it takes about 23 episodes to get to it. Once they get
together there are no break ups.

* there are two seasons. Season 2 is just a different version of the story
with the same couple. I watched them both.

There are more that are not as steamy but they are sweet and not the fake kisses you see in some.

I understand what you mean and my friend feels the same as you do. I really feel watching both shows at the same time made me not feel the same for WIFTY as many do. She and I watched both at the same time and she said she liked both equally. This is why I am going to watch it again later. I was so overcome by Hidden Love. I think the visuals for HL were also more attractive to me. Everything was just so beautiful. Sang Zhi was dressed so beautifully. CZY was just so flirty and his smile and eyes just got me. It is not that I didn't like WIFTY because I did. HL felt like one big flirt scene and there was a thrill with so many little gestures such as the strawberry scene. I think I watched with a big smile on my face. With WIFTY, there was cuteness but it was cuteness without the
thrill I got from watching Jiaxu flirt with Sang Zhi. This is why I said I needed to watch WIFTY another time on its own to appreciate its own charm. Sometimes the way the FL and ML look does affect my overall impression. I kept wanting the FL in WIFTY to fix her hair and put on some eyeliner once she got to college. On the otherhand, I loved the personality of the FL. She was sweet but she stood up for herself. She was no pushover.

I am going to rewatch WIFTY for itself but I will never feel obsessed with it the way I am with HL. I get a similar feel from Lighter & Princess which is more intense but the chemistry is just as amazing as Hidden Love.

My friend refused to watch Forever Love because for some reason she doesn't like the ML's haircut. He does not look bad at all. Now she finally decided to watch it, she loves it! I am presently watching You Are My Desire and I love it. But nothing beats Hidden Love in this youth to college type drama. I think You Are My Desire would be better if they had better OST. I am not feeling the music in it but the episodes are good otherwise.
