Title The Call Spoiler
This movie is such a crazy ride but the female lead is so DUMB. It's so annoying how things got worse but I understand…
After finding out that the villain is a brutal murderer of two people, the female lead should have never told her that she's going to get caught by the police and be in prison for life or even called her again in the first place. That changed everything. If she didn't call, the villain would be busy enjoying her freedom and will get caught off guard by the police. The time will flow and her current new timeline won't change.

There's also a minor twist where it's revealed that the female lead is the reason why her father died but she lied about it and only blamed/hated her mother until she grew up and even when her mother is sick in the hospital. That only made me dislike the female lead more. Both of the main characters are mentally ill and I didn't care about the ending. Though I hate it when the villain wins, they had it coming.

Title Ditto Spoiler
Watched this in 2022 and surprised to see how the ratings is low. This movie was good, not excellent but still…
The guy was her first love, it was painful yet easy for her to let go and sacrifice their relationship so the guy and her friend can get together and have their son in the future.

Just my theory... What if the female lead and male lead are not in a time gap but it's actually a parallel world? Where the characters made different choices or had different fates. But the female lead followed the fate of their different selves from the parallel world, when she could have just make her own fate and be with the guy she loves.

PS. I hate it when friends steal or swap their partner. That's the worse. I already feel off about it before the plot twist happened tbh.

Title Ditto
Watched this in 2022 and surprised to see how the ratings is low. This movie was good, not excellent but still have an impressive theme for a movie released in 2000. The ending is not happy unlike other time travel/time rift movies so I guess people dislike it, but that's what makes this movie different.

I think their relationship would continue if the radio didn't exist in the first place, but the female lead just accepted her fate from the future. She didn't change anything and despite it, she was happy and the ending wasn't really sad. Life is not all about romance.

Lol no wonder why he looks haggard and older despite changing the past several times. Stop smoking and take cake of your health!

I can't believe I got attached to a robot. A precious robot. Sori, I love you.
I burst to so much tears when Sori was left alone and she was wandering on the streets. Then the following scenes and at the ending. I cried a lot but I'm glad the ending is happy. I hope Sori is fine and found a new human friend who could take care of her :')

PS. I didn't understand why she should go to Afghanistan. But I realized, is it to help another person find someone like the main character? (╥﹏╥)

One of the best movies I've watched. Such a fun and unique zombie movie. Pure gold perfect to brighten your day.
The first bite was so funny, then the effects was funnier, but the "reverse" bite in the ending was so unexpected and it's the funniest! This zombie movie is so creative and refreshing.

Title Deranged Spoiler
This movie is so intense and kept me hooked. The epidemic case is so interesting but I didn't expect it's man made. I can't believe the man and his team murdered hundred thousands of people and doomed their own country just to get money. It made me so angry but I'm glad the man was arrested and even showed the raging citizens throwing eggs at him and dragging him.

I think the ending was implying that the disaster still didn't end and the disease spread worldwide since a body was floating in the sea. There are probably infected people working on the ship or traveling without realizing it soon. Or the parasites especially on the beaches reached further and infected new people in other countries. There will be chaos but I think it's not that bad since they already found the cure for it.
On Sinkhole Oct 15, 2022
Title Sinkhole
This movie feels good and not the usual serious and action packed disaster movies. It's comedy but there's still emotional scenes. In the first 30 minutes, I forgot that this is a disaster movie and thought it's about a family moving to a new house and encountering a weird neighbor. It's so funny and made me laugh a lot even when they're trying to survive in the sinkhole. The way they escaped is so unique and fun. I really enjoyed this movie.
On The Terror Live Oct 14, 2022
I'm sorry but I'm on the terrorist's side. I support revenge especially targeted on the government to seek justice from the corrupt system. Although it's still bad that innocent people are dragged to it.

The ending is so powerful. I think this is the only movie where I'm smiling so much while having tears in my eyes.
On Emergency Declaration Oct 14, 2022
Title Emergency Declaration Spoiler
This movie is great. It's so intense and emotional, I got goosebumps and cried so much. It's new and not the usual airplane terrorist bomb attack. The villain intentionally spread a virus inside the airplane and already died before things got worse. While the rest is in chaos with what he left.

But honestly, I have other thoughts about the ending. I'm glad that it's a happy ending, but I think it would've been more impactful if it continued to its tragic route. It would be different from the typical disaster movies where the hero saves the day.

This is just what I imagine if there's an alternate ending... They decided to not land and sent goodbye videos to their families. They crashed the airplane in a field where it exploded and everyone died. The cure worked on the police man who sacrificed himself, but it took an hour and they realized it was too late. The ending shows the team's and families' devasted faces. The citizens who protested in the airport and online regret their actions and started blaming one another. Then the last scene shows their whole nation holding a grand funeral for the deceased passengers.
On Glitch Oct 8, 2022
Title Glitch Spoiler
I was excited to watch Glitch since it's the first sci-fi kdrama about literal aliens. I enjoyed this drama and I like the mysterious vibes, effects and music. But honestly I'm also disappointed. It turned out differently from what I thought. It's centered on a cult more than the aliens, which is surprising but also a unique take since I've never seen alien movies that connects to religion and some religious people usually don't like aliens since it contradicts with their idea of God. But based on the trailer, I kinda felt that maybe the aliens are only delusions of the main character and they already showed that she's hallucinating in episode 1. She's unstable and the cult manipulated her condition more. In my opinion, I didn't like the main character. I find her so annoying. She's so paranoid and reckless. I thought they're going to have a fun adventure discovering aliens, but instead they argued more and always gets in trouble with the cult, which I also find annoying. Their flashbacks in middle school were more interesting.

At the end, I'm glad that the aliens are really true and it wasn't just her delusions. I think the purpose of the aliens for contacting or abducting humans are their way to know them and secretly experiment them without any harm, then bring them back while erasing their memories. But the humans who have chips on their brain can remember and see them. The aliens put chips on their brain to monitor them, not only as humans but with their life. They can contact the humans when they need help and take the chips out once they're ready to reveal themselves. That's what I think.

I like the alien club and their conspiracy theories more than the main character and main plot. I wish there was more parts about the aliens than the cult.
On What to Do with the Dead Kaiju? Oct 5, 2022
I couldn't take this movie seriously. Especially the meeting scenes of the government officials, they look like a bunch of high school kids arguing on their project. The mushroom scenes was so funny though.

The dead body of the monster shouldn't be on earth since it contains a lot of bacterias and risks to the people. So the ML took him out of their planet. I think something happened to him that's why he disappeared for 2 years and came back when the monster was dead. That "light" they encountered was probably some alien that gave him that "power" so he could save their world before the real disaster starts.

Title Begins Youth
BTS has an album chronicle called "Reflection of Youth" since their debut in 2013 — talking about the stories of teenagers growing to adulthood in their music. But the "BTS Universe" (BU), also called as "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life" (HYYH) officially started in 2015 with a connected storyline that continues through their music videos and short films while the members acts as fictional characters. Their storyline also extended to a webtoon "Save Me" (2019), books "花樣年華 THE NOTES" 1 & 2 (2019-2020) and game "BTS Universe Story" (2020). The books covers the overall storyline and it's the full version of The Notes snippets from their Love Yourself trilogy albums in 2017-2018.

It was announced in 2019 that BTS Universe will have a drama adaptation called "Youth". They started filming in late 2020 but have to stop and reshoot to change the names of the characters. The filming ended in 2021. It's already October 2022 but there's still no updates. I've been waiting for this drama and I want it to come already! It's a preproduced drama that will air in an OTT platform. I hope it will be on Netflix, but it's probably on Disney+ though.
On Kim So Hyun Oct 3, 2022
Person Kim So Hyun
I've been a fan of Kim So Hyun since 2013 and I watched her growing up from child counterpart roles to lead roles. She's always been a versatile actress with great acting skills, but in my honest opinion, her dramas and characters weren't that good since 2017. I think she had a hard time transitioning to adult roles and her filmography started going downhill with her romance dramas. It also mainly has to do with the scriptwriters she worked with and leaving SidusHQ for a new agency.

2017: The Emperor: Owner of the Mask have high ratings but her character was badly written and hated, that it even gave her hardships and her first slump.
2018: Radio Romance is her first adult role but the drama is weak and flop.
2019: Love Alarm is her most popular drama internationally but got a lot of hate/negative feedbacks and it only made people think she's typecast for playing highschool student roles and being in love triangles.
2019: The Tale of Nokdu is focused on the male lead with her character as a love interest just like in The Emperor, but romcom and better version.
2021: River Where The Moon Rises is finally a female-centric drama with a strong character but got affected by a controversy that forced them to reshoot, make changes and even add fanservice.

I really hope next time her dramas will do well (plot + production + success) and she can have strong characters that will showcase her abilities and make her shine just like in Who Are You - School 2015. Sorry but I feel disappointed when her co-actors and even the side characters gets more spotlight and interest than her. She, specifically her characters gets overshadowed to be honest. Sometimes it feels like her characters are just used for the love line. Maybe she can take aside the romance dramas and have more female-centric and thriller dramas in the future.

I'm looking forward to her two upcoming dramas. I have low expectations but I'm still hoping that it will be good and well loved regardless of the genre or her co-actor. The script and her character are what matters the most.

PS. What I meant by "strong characters" isn't just about being badass. It's about an interesting character that would leave a strong impression to the viewers and will make them love her not just for her character but also as an actress. A character that have an impact and people will remember and praise her for.

Hmm..I'm kinda disappointed. I was literally praying that this time it wouldn't be a rookie actor or idol. I really…
Almost of Sohyun's fans doesn't want her to work "again" with rookies or idols but wants her to work with a senior actor or same age experienced actor. I feel the same but now I don't care about who her co-actor is. She's a great actress, she does not rely on her co-actors' skills or popularity and it does not affect her acting. And it's not her own choice to pick whoever her co-actor is since it's the PDs decision. I just want her to choose a drama with a good script and strong character. She shined and worked hard in her last drama River Where The Moon Rises despite the difficulties and sudden changes. She even got nominated for Best Actress in Baeksang. I know it's your opinion about her co-actor but it feels off how you included her acting on it, when it usually depends on the script and character of how she can do well and show her capabilities. But yes working with senior actors can be a great learning experience for her and maybe widen her horizon to choose better projects.

Title Hoshi to Lemon no Heya Spoiler
Going back to comment since I remember this scene and just want to share my thoughts and opinion about it... I kinda relate to the MC and I understand her struggles, but she was horrible to her mother and I feel extremely sad for her mother's death. She just died like that, alone and helpless... The mother even tried to lie to her about her delivery box so she could open the door and maybe help her, but she didn't even listen. If the water didn't leaked, she probably wouldn't even know. When she found out that her mother passed away, I didn't feel her sadness or disbelief about it? She was panicking but she was more concerned about what to do and immediately came to talk to her internet friend. I know how hard anxiety is that you can't even talk on the phone that's why she couldn't get emergency call or ask for help from her neighbors. But she could at least pay respect to her mother and grief for her longer. She did it late and her conversation with her mother wasn't real and it was just her subconscious. I like this drama, but I guess this scene and her action just bothered me so much. Her mother was kind and caring, she didn't deserve that kind of death and treatment.
