Yeah emperor better support Jinghe to get the truth out from the past
Oh, it is just a theory. Trying to understand why the emperor keeps pestering MJH to marry LM. If I suppose that the emperor is not dumb. That would be to protect. MJH because LM has military power.
People that are complaining about that the drama and novel are different do they have to copy and paste from the…
People always want to have the same story enacted.
Personnaly I think that, an adaptation should improve the quality of the story. It would be boring, to get the same exact copied pasted novel. The problem is that, sometimes, instead of improving the quality of the work, they stuff it with clichés. They even add or withdraw characters, disregard plot points... I did not read the novel, but I am enjoying "Kill me, Love me" so far.
From what I understood, MJH was a darker character in the novel. He wanted to marry LM and fell for ML. In the drama, he refuses to marry LM who is pestering him, and he also fell for ML.
Personnally, I had enough violence against women in "Love In The Desert". The trope " I am loving my rapist" #StockholmSyndrom is not appealing to me.
So I am happy that, in this version, MJH is impersonating an hedonist. And MJH honestly respects ML. It adds beauty to this chaos.
It's there, but guarded. The eyes say it. The nightshade herb is better known as belldonna....which are used in…
Ohhhhh. I see. Thank you, This is great. Without you, I would have never known it was Belladonna. It was nice to see Mei Lin taking care of him pretending it was out of duty. We know it is not. I am a big fan of Peanut comics. I read the compilation lately :)
I believe the emperor didn't have concrete proof of crown prince's evil deeds. And, he looks more benevolent towards…
@gmat6594 This is true that, we don't know who might be betrothed to the Crown Prince? Your theory makes sense. As such, peace woud be safeguarded and CP would loose miitary power.

@ayume Yes, I also think that MJH has the means to stop the Emperor's plan by marrying only once. I think that, what the Emperor fears the most is Mei Lin's influence on MJH. What could he do to stay with her. He cannot stand MJH not listening to his marriage proposal.
Reliving the time Jing He was crippled with Mei Lin witnessing it, is so sad. Jing He appears so vulnerable. But, at the same time, isn't your beloved supposed to love you, even when you are vulnerable?

This is sweet to see that she takes good care of him.
This will stronger their bond. So cute (*_*)
Yes I don't think the Emperor is clueless.
